Abstract: A lock includes a lock housing, a lock interface, a rotary locking member, a locking bolt, and a locking mechanism. The rotary locking member extends from a side portion of the lock housing, the rotary locking member being rotatable about a first axis between a locking position and a releasing position. The locking bolt is configured to hold the rotary locking element in the locking position when the locking bolt is in a first position and to allow the rotary locking member to rotate from the locking position to the releasing position when the locking bolt is in a second position. The locking mechanism is configured to slide the locking bolt from the first position to the second position in response to proper manipulation of the lock interface.

Abstract: A lock assembly that secures a door to an adjacent frame. The assembly includes an elongated base, a cam assembly mounted to the base including a housing, a lever, and a sliding member having a first end slidably connected to the lever and movable in a direction perpendicular to the base by rotation of the lever, an extension actuator having a proximal end movably connected to a second end of the sliding member, and a lock mechanism mounted to the elongated base and movable between unlocked and locked positions. The second end of the sliding member extends to a position within the housing upon full rotation of the lever. The extension actuator and base may permit modular addition of lock mechanisms at multiple locations.

Abstract: A fitting lockout device includes first and second plate members each having proximal and distal end portions. The first plate member has at least a first cutout disposed between the proximal and distal end portions, and at least a first lock aperture disposed in the distal end portion. The second plate member has at least a second cutout disposed between the proximal and distal end portions, and at least a second lock aperture disposed in the distal end portion. The proximal end portion of the first plate member is pivotally connected to the proximal end portion of the second plate member such that the first and second plate members may be pivoted to align the first and second lock apertures for receipt of a locking member therethrough. When the first and second lock apertures are aligned, the first and second cutouts overlap to define an opening for securely retaining a recessed portion of a fitting.

Abstract: The present lock construction, for securing a movable object to a fixed object, includes a housing having an interior cavity and an elongated member having a first portion secured within the housing and a second portion slidably received within the housing. The elongated member is slidable within the passageway to a locked position, securing the movable object to the fixed position and to an unlocked position, releasing the object from the fixed object. First and second members are slidably disposed in the housing and are movable to engage the cable in the locked position. A rotatable locking mechanism is disposed within said housing and is engageable with the first member to permit slidable movement of the first member and thereby allow slidable movement of the elongated member to different locked positions. The rotatable locking mechanism is also engageable with the second member to permit slidable movement of the second member and thereby prevent movement of said elongated member in the locked position.
