Patent number: 10746621Abstract: A pressure sensing system includes a pressure transducer, a pressure manifold, and a heater assembly. The pressure transducer is configured to measure pressures at one or more locations of a vehicle engine. The pressure manifold is configured to cover a face of the pressure transducer and provide an interface for transferring air or gas generated at the one or more locations of the vehicle engine. The heater assembly is configured to heat one or more portions of the pressure transducer and one or more portions of the pressure manifold and maintain a temperature of each of the pressure transducer and the pressure manifold above a predetermined temperature level.Type: GrantFiled: August 10, 2017Date of Patent: August 18, 2020Assignee: BAE Systems Controls Inc.Inventors: William J. Gehm, Raymond J. Boyd, Glenn T. Diego, Robert J. Kunz, Clive A. Morris, Stephen L. Pero

Publication number: 20040134753Abstract: A tray turner for a conveying system which includes a conveyor for moving trays having hand openings on two opposite sides. A tray sensor detects whether the trays are properly oriented, and a turning station is located downstream from the tray sensor for turning those trays which are not properly oriented. The tray sensor detects the proper orientation by moving an arm along the adjacent side of the tray as it moves past the sensor to detect the hand opening and identify the half tray in an incorrect position. The turning section receives signals from the sensor and moves a tray rotator pin into the path of the nearest corner of a mis-aligned tray for momentarily intercepting such tray and moving it angularly 90 degrees into a position in which such tray is facing in the correct direction. The mis-aligned half trays abut against the rotator pin. There is a longitudinal guide immediately upstream from the tray rotator pin.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 14, 2003Publication date: July 15, 2004Applicant: Lockheed Martin Corp, a Maryland CorporationInventors: Glenn T. Patent number: 6698580Abstract: An adjustable roller conveyor module includes a first support structure comprising first and second laterally spaced, longitudinally extending frame members. A first roller set supported by the first support structure includes rollers rotatable about lateral axes equi-spaced in accordance with a predetermined roller-axis spacing. A second support structure is carried between the first and second frame members of the first support structure for longitudinal reciprocation between fully retracted and extended positions. The second support structure supports a second roller set including rollers rotatable about lateral axes coplanar with the axes of the first roller set and equi-spaced in accordance with the predetermined roller-axis spacing. Selected rollers of the first roller set are removable to accommodate retraction of the second support structure.Type: GrantFiled: June 17, 2002Date of Patent: March 2, 2004Assignee: Lockheed Martin CorporationInventor: Glenn T. Publication number: 20020189922Abstract: A material handling lift gate for allowing ingress and egress from a conveyor system. The material handling lift gate provides a mechanism for clearing packages from the lift gate prior to the opening thereof, as well as preventing packages from entering the lift gate when the lift gate is in an open position. The material handling lift gate includes a plurality of adjustable, telescoping vertical legs and opposing horizontal side rails hingedly mounted to an upper end of a pair of the plurality of adjustable, telescoping vertical legs or proximate thereto. The opposing horizontal side rails are positionable between a first closed position and a second open position. In further embodiments, the material handling lift gate includes a lift gate clear controller for controlling package movement into and out of the material handling lift gate.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 13, 2001Publication date: December 19, 2002Inventors: Glenn T. Diego, David A. Deer, John J. Ford, Eugene C. Stradley, Thomas Mozgawa
