Abstract: Disclosed is a telescopic artificial tree with interchangeable branches and leaves. The artificial tree includes a telescopic trunk member that extends vertically upward from a base member with an imbedded lighting assembly, hydraulic motor, and other electrical components therein. The artificial tree further includes a plurality of branches with leaves thereon, wherein the branches and the leaves are adapted to illuminate via the lighting assembly imbedded in the base member. The branches are adapted to removably attach to the trunk member at various locations along the length thereof. In this way, the branches may be interchanged to alter the outward appearance of the tree. In one embodiment, the artificial tree resembles a palm tree. In another embodiment, the tree resembles a pine tree. Additionally, the present invention may include accessories that may be mounted on the branches.
