  • Publication number: 20240150267
Abstract: The present disclosure provides a process for producing trifluoroiodomethane, the process comprising providing a reactant stream comprising hydrogen iodide and at least one trifluoroacetyl halide selected from the group consisting of trifluoroacetyl chloride, trifluoroacetyl fluoride, trifluoroacetyl bromide, and combinations thereof, reacting the reactant stream in the presence of a first catalyst at a first reaction temperature from about 25° C. to about 400° C. to produce an intermediate product stream comprising trifluoroacetyl iodide, and reacting the intermediate product stream in the presence of a second catalyst at a second reaction temperature from about 200° C. to about 600° C. to produce a final product stream comprising the trifluoroiodomethane.

  • Publication number: 20240133735
Abstract: A device may receive, from a fiber sensor device, sensing data associated with a fiber optic cable, the sensing data being produced by an activity that poses a threat of damage to the fiber optic cable, and the sensing data identifying: amplitudes of vibration signals, frequencies of the vibration signals, patterns of the vibration signals, times associated with the vibration signals, and locations along the fiber optic cable associated with the vibration signals. The device may process, with a machine learning model, the sensing data to determine a threat level of the activity to the fiber optic cable, the machine learning model having been trained based on historical information regarding detected vibrations, historical information regarding sources of the detected vibrations, and historical information regarding threat levels to the fiber optic cable. The device may perform one or more actions based on the threat level to the fiber optic cable.

  • Publication number: 20210388658
Abstract: A lifter plate assembly for a motor vehicle window and method of assembly thereof is provided. The lifter plate assembly includes a main body having a rail guide hook for sliding receipt of window regulator rails. A pair of opposed spring fingers are disposed in the rail guide hook for biased engagement with the window regulator rails. A resilient cushion supports the spring fingers against yielding to maintain the spring fingers in biased engagement with the widow regulator rails. A window bracket is configured for fixed attachment to a window and has a tongue configured for sliding and snapping receipt in a receptacle of a window retainer plate of the main body. The receptacle has ribs or grooves and the tongue has the other of grooves or ribs, wherein the ribs and grooves interdigitate with one another to prevent relative fore/aft movement between the window bracket the window retainer plate.
