  • Patent number: 9191695
Abstract: A receiver includes: a broadcast contents acquisition unit configured to acquire contents from a broadcast signal; a determination unit configured to determine whether a received application is an application whose reference to the contents has been permitted; a recording unit configured to record, in a first storage area, an application whose reference to the contents has been determined to have been permitted by the determination unit, and record, in a second storage area, an application whose reference to the contents has been determined not to have been permitted by the determination unit; an execution unit configured to execute the application recorded in at least one of the first storage area and the second storage area; and a reference refusal unit configured to refuse reference to the contents acquired by the broadcast contents acquisition unit due to execution of an application other than the application recorded in the first storage area.

  • Publication number: 20140344877
Abstract: A reception device includes an access control unit configured to determine whether access to the application programming interface is permitted based on a determination according to the type stored in the application storage unit to correspond to the application identification information set in the call instruction. In addition, the reception device includes a web server unit configured to receive the call instruction from the browser unit, inquire of the access control unit about whether access to the application programming interface is permitted, and control the call instruction according to a result of a determination which is made by the access control unit in response to the inquiry.

  • Publication number: 20140090019
Abstract: The receiver (90) is provided with an application authentication unit (917) which uses a verification key to verify whether or not a signature of an application is valid and authenticates whether the acquired application is either an A-application or an ordinary application based on the validity of the signature; and a resource access controlling unit (918) performing a resource access control based on a resource access controlling table.

  • Patent number: 8532292
Abstract: Provided is a system far receiving a initialization packet containing an initial vector for initializing stream encryption algorithm and an identifier of a key for decrypting an encrypted stream, initializing a decryption module, and decrypting the encrypted stream, wherein the system stores an identifier of a key which is needed to decrypt a next program in a initialization packet of a current program and informs a user of whether a desired key has been acquired or not at timing close to start time of the next program.

  • Patent number: 7769197
Abstract: An electronic image into which an electronic watermark is to be embedded is divided into a plurality of image regions spatially, and pixels each having a property of being difficult to visually recognize a variation in a pixel value are extracted as adaptive pixels from each of the plurality of image regions. A variation between the pixel values of the adaptive pixels in one of the plurality of image regions and those of the adaptive pixels in an adjacent one of the plurality of image regions is produced, and the pixel values of the adaptive pixels of the plurality of image regions are varied in a time direction according to the value of an embedded bit set of the electronic watermark. An electronic-watermark-embedded image is then generated by making the variation in the pixel values of the adaptive pixels vary step by step at a boundary between the two of the plurality of image regions and/or in the time direction so that the variation makes a slow transition.
