  • Patent number: 7140573
Abstract: A rotating article dispenser is provided for receiving and dispensing articles, such as a paper towel roll. The dispenser includes a handle which may be easily attached and removed by use of a clamping head provided in the handle which clamps around a bulb protruding from a first end of a tube. Upon depression of a button attached to the clamping head, the head may be released from the bulb so that the handle may be removed from the first end of the dispenser tube.

  • Patent number: 7040830
Abstract: A fluid-dispensing kitchen apparatus has a body including a fluid reservoir and a handle, the reservoir being closed by an end plate which is welded to the body and is, in turn, latched to a cleaning medium block. An embodiment has a resilient tab on the block engaging an edge of the housing plate. Aligned holes through the plate and the block which provide communication between the reservoir and the plate is openable and closeable by a valve actuated by an increase in pressure provided by depressing a resilient button. In an embodiment, the resilient button includes a bias member to return the button to its rest position.

  • Publication number: 20050084317
Abstract: A fluid-containing cleaning device has a housing with a generally cylindrical wall open at one end and closed at the other end by a base carrying a cleaning medium. The housing defines a fluid reservoir and the base has a central opening therein closed by a valve member for dispensing liquid to the cleaning medium. The valve is activated by pressure increase in the reservoir caused by deflection of a button. The button includes a bias member to return the button to a rest position.

  • Publication number: 20040134866
Abstract: The present invention in an embodiment provides a rack including fingers which are pivotally mounted so that when an actuator is moved to an extended condition the fingers will simultaneously move to an extended position approximately perpendicular to the upper surface of the rack so that items may be placed thereon for uses such as drying. The fingers are pivotally attached to the actuator so that, upon movement to a retracted position, the fingers will pivot downward and to a retracted position below the upper surface providing a flat rack that is easily stored. The rack also includes a liquid indicator for identifying whether liquid is present within a base of the rack.

  • Patent number: 6643891
Abstract: A dustpan includes an open-front receptacle, at least one elongated rail on the receptacle, an elongated handle having a coupling portion, and a coupling mechanism slidably coupled to the at least one rail and pivotally coupled to the coupling portion of the handle so that the handle is both slidably and pivotally moveable relative to the receptacle between use and storage positions. A broom includes an elongated second handle and a head carrying set of bristles, the head having a housing with curved side portions shaped and dimensioned to respectively nest in recesses in the dustpan handle in a stowed condition clipped to the dustpan handle in such a way that it does not interfere with the pivoting and sliding movement of the dustpan handle. The dustpan receptacle can be stood on its flat rear end wall with the stowed broom received therein.
