    Abstract: An antenna system switching method and a mobile terminal is described. The mobile terminal includes a first portion and a second portion, a first antenna system and a second antenna system. The mobile terminal has a first physical status and a second physical status according to the difference of the relative positions of the first portion and the second portion. The mobile terminal operates through the different first antenna system and second antenna system according to the difference of the physical statuses in which it is, so that an antenna ground unit and an antenna radiating unit can be located on different parts of the mobile terminal, the demand for the height of the antenna of the mobile terminal is satisfied while the light and thin of the mobile terminal is implemented.
