  • Publication number: 20230384059
Abstract: A remote weapon system structured to be interfaced with aerial, ground and sea vehicles or platforms for operation in mission critical conditions, allows for mounting and control of single or multi-shot anti-armor rocket launcher systems and provides optical sighting, laser range finding and fire control to adjust vertical elevation, sight of target and trigger of the ignition system. A tactical gimbal controlled by a high torque motor with dual shafts allows for high positional accuracy and target hold that is stable. A frame shrouds and secures rocket launcher tubes causing them to move in unison with the tactical gimbal as a single or multi-shot system. Ignition of the rocket(s) is achieved by a remote-controlled ignitor.

  • Patent number: 10234222
Abstract: A launcher device for launching a 40 mm projectile (i.e., both high explosive grenades and less lethal 40 mm rounds) includes a receiver assembly, a removable buttstock, a pivoting barrel assembly, a barrel stop that limits opening of the barrel to approximately 45 degrees relative to the receiver for fast reloading, and an auto ejection assembly for ejecting spent casings out of the chamber upon opening the barrel. Individual 40 mm rounds are loaded into the chamber at the proximal end of the barrel assembly by releasing a barrel stop lever assembly and pivoting the barrel assembly open relative to the receiver assembly. The launcher further includes a hidden double action trigger group which prevents accidental firing. An arrangement of built-in picatinny rails on the barrel allow for attachment of accessories such as lights, fore grips, slings, etc.

  • Patent number: 10222175
Abstract: A multi-projectile launcher capable of firing less-lethal 40 mm rounds or high explosive 40 mm rounds (i.e., HE Grenades) can be attached to robots, drones, vehicles and stationary structures. The robot/drone multi-projectile launcher is remote controlled and capable of 360 degree horizontal rotation as well as vertical panning, and is able to quickly turn and acquire targets. A solenoid controlled firing system for each barrel includes a firing pin, trigger lever and striker, as well as a lockout bar and striker seer to prevent accidental firing (e.g., from impact or sudden jolt). Target acquisition systems include an infrared laser system, a standard red laser system, and an optic targeting system that is monitored through an onboard camera. A wireless network access device allows for remote viewing of live-feed camera images (still frame and video) and control of the optic targeting system, as well as the launcher articulation and firing.
