Abstract: Stabilized rotating sailing rig for boats formed by a mast, a boom perpendicular to the mast, and one or more sails bent to the common boom and to the mast; rig capable of freely rotating with all its elements, around a vertical axis, with the important and novel characteristic that the top of the mast is stabilized by shrouds and/or stays which tie it to the periphery of the deck or decks of the boat without jeopardizing the rotation of the rig around its vertical axis. This top of the mast stabilization also permits the use of prow fixed sails.

Abstract: A self-supporting rotary rigging and, more specifically, a rigging that has a circular platform adjacent to the deck of the vessel, which makes it possible to control the rotation of the rigging and to install rotary stays and shrouds, which assists in stabilizing the rigging. The rigging is characterized by the existence of a small common boom securely joined to the base platform and to which are fastened the backstay and forestay, all the aforesaid making the rigging very secure and enabling the backstay and forestay to be capable of downward movement. There is a base crosstree, likewise securely connected to the platform, perpendicular to the stays, and to the end thereof are fastened the shrouds, enabling the later to work at a suitable angle. In addition, there is a tunnel across the lower part of the mast, which allows passage from one side of the rigging to the other.

Abstract: An improved rotary gear for sailing boats is provided wherein the connection of the boom to the rest of the rig is such that on the horizontal plane the boom must rotate simultaneously with the rest of the rig, but that it can move up and down in the vertical plane in order to give tension to the sails and wherein the axis widens as it comes through the deck creating a base wide and strong, making it possible to control the rotation of the whole rig from the base, not only because of the necessary rotation control mechanisms, but also because the remaining rig elements are forced to rotate with the base, which permits also the use of rotating shrouds and stays to help in supporting the mast.
