Abstract: Systems and methods for implementing rear passenger attention. A driver of a vehicle may be presented with a graphical interface for controlling a telltale embedded in a rear region of the vehicle that is visible to other occupants of the vehicle (e.g., rear passengers). The driver may access an edge bar on the graphical interface to activate the telltale. The telltale may be activated to attract the attention of other occupant(s) of the vehicle (e.g., rear passengers) by pulsing at a 1 Hz frequency with an integrated dimming function that reduces the effects of epilepsy.
