  • Patent number: 11278096
Abstract: A contact lens case is disclosed. The contact lens case has a fluid tank that stores fluid (e.g., contact lens solution, water, etc.). The contact lens case also has two lens assemblies (e.g., a first lens assembly and a second lens assembly), wherein each lens assembly has a lens reservoir that stores a contact lens. Further, each lens assembly has a pressure pump that upon actuation, draws fluid from the fluid tank, through a suction line and a one-way valve, to the corresponding lens reservoir.

Date of Patent: March 22, 2022
    Assignee: BERLISI INDUSTRIES

  • Publication number: 20130341316
Abstract: A free standing air blower for providing directed ventilation includes an air duct, a blower, a heating element, a deflector and a base unit. The deflector is disposed on an end of the air duct and has an angle of deflection configured to deflect air from the air duct to an area laterally adjacent to the drier.

  • Patent number: 6855179
Abstract: A composition includes a mixture of a hydrocarbon oil in a relation of about 75 to 88 in weight percent and at least one copolymer selected from the group of triblock and diblock polymers in a proportion from about 12 to 25 in weight percent, the hydrocarbon oil having a viscosity of at least 180 SUS@ at 37° C. (100° F.) and, when the viscosity is in CST@, the viscosity being greater than 32 CST@ at 40° C. (104° F.), and the flash point being greater than 220° C. (425° F.). Also a free standing candle is made with the composition, the candle maintaining a free standing condition even when lit by means of a flame produced as a consequence of the combustion of a wick that crosses the body of the candle projecting toward outside one of its ends.

  • Patent number: 3942372
Abstract: A technique for testing marine propellers by analyzing the type of cavitation appearing on a reduced-scale model of the associated actual ship, and thereby obtaining data for correcting imperfections in propeller design, and for reducing pressure fluctuations at the lower sternframe portion of the ship. The technique inculdes simulating the water flow acting on the propeller. The procedure is characterized by adjusting the denominator of the cavitation index of the model in order to achieve an approach in the tests to equality between the cavitation indices of the model and the actual ship. This adjustment is achieved in the tests by increasing the towing speed or the propeller revolution rate of the model until the above-mentioned equality of cavitation indices is reached, ignoring the influence that the actual component of the wake speed due to wave formation might have in the tests.
