    Abstract: A tool for chip removing machining, including a basic body, and a cutting insert fixed in an insert seat in the basic body by a tightening element, and which, via at least one shoulder surface, is held pressed against a stop surface in the insert seat. An elastically deformable spring is arranged in the insert seat, which provides, by elastic deformation as a result of tightening of the tightening element, the pressing of the shoulder surface against the stop surface.
