Abstract: A formulation for forming an ink-receptive coating on a substrate includes more than 1 percent by weight (wt. %) of dry matter of a mesoporous material including particles of precipitated silica, wherein the mesoporous material is incorporated in the formulation in the form of a paste having a water content within a range of 60-95 wt. %, wherein the paste has been obtained by washing and dewatering of a slurry formed by mixing alkali silicate with a salt solution so that coagulation occurs.

Abstract: The invention relates to a plasterboard comprising a layer of plaster and at least one facing arranged on the latter, the facing being coated with a coating slip comprising a microporous material, said microporous material comprising agglomerates of precipitated silica. The invention also relates to a coating slip, a facing, and methods of manufacture for supplying said plasterboard.

The element also includes a structure, and a jointing component resistant to air transfers and thermal and hydric transfers. The element does not comprise any membranes that are resistant to air transfers and thermal and hydric transfers.
