Abstract: The present invention relates to a flexible grinding product and a method of producing the same. Such a grinding product comprises a flexible underlay (1) which consists of two layers laminated to each other. These comprise a lower base layer (2) and an upper layer (3), a cavity layer. The underlay includes a top surface (5) having at least one adhesive layer (6) arranged thereto after lamination and a layer of grinding agent (7) applied by means of the adhesive layer. The grinding product is characterized in that the layer that is coated with grinding agent includes holes which form cavities (4), whereby the cavities provide space for grinding dust and grinding residues and facilitate their re-moval from the surface being ground.

Abstract: The invention relates to an abrasive product intended to be driven in a particular grinding direction over the object to be abraded. The abrasive product is composed of parallel threads placed at a distance from one another and running in the grinding direction and transverse abrasive threads provided with an abrasive coating placed at a distance from one another and fastened to the parallel threads. The open structure allows to easily remove the grindings from the abrasive product during abrasion, thus extending the working life of the abrasive product.

Abstract: The invention relates to a machine for producing a tube provided with a nipple in each end controlled by a process-computer. The machine comprises a plurality of stations where machining of the tube shall be made, the tube primary product being rolled up on a roll which is arranged in a tube roll stand. According to the invention, the machine includes transport of the tube to and from respective stations wherein the tube is fed from the roll up to a measuring and cutting station, where the tube is measured to selected length and is cut off by a cutting tool; the tube is taken to a nipple connecting station, where the two ends of the tube are equipped with a nipple provided with a sleeve, which nipples, if necessary, are also marked; the tube is further taken to a pressing station, where a pressing unit presses the nipples to a fixed position on the tube; the machined tube is throughly cleaned by blowing and is finally controlled and/or tested, whereafter the tube is ready for wrapping.

Abstract: A grinding product and a method of making same. The grinding product comprises a woven or knitted cloth of multifilament threads (1) whose fibers (2) form projecting loops (3), and separate agglomerates (4) of grinding material applied to the loops. During the grinding, different sides of the agglomerates (4) come into contact with the surface to be ground, which prolongs the service life of the grinding product. The agglomerates also form a gap between the cloth and the surface to be ground, through which gap the grinding dust can be removed.
