Publication number: 20020021016Abstract: The present invention relates to a vehicle seating arrangement having a number of seats. The seats are arranged so that they can be moved between different mutual positions along at least two parallel rails that extend in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle in the vehicle floor. Each of the seats have a backrest part and a seat part, and are slidably attached to the rails by means of coupling members. The seats can be locked by way of the coupling members in a number of positions along the rails. The seat part of the seats is pivotably mounted in relation to the backrest part in such a way that it can assume a first, folded-down position and a second position wherein it is folded up against the backrest part. At least one rail extends essentially in the transverse direction of the vehicle.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 21, 2001Publication date: February 21, 2002Inventors: Ake Bergquist, Goran Larsson, Anders Gunnarsson, Simon Lamarre, Karin Reikeras, kjell Reikrras, Einar Lennartsson, Brigitta Thorsson

Publication number: 20020017410Abstract: A vehicle instrument panel having along its transverse design length two mounting stations of identical design. Each mounting station is adapted to receive either a module designed for a driver or a module designed for a passenger. Each of the mounting stations includes a recess in the instrument panel adapted for receiving each module. Each mounting station and respective module is designed for docking-like installation and removal of the modules at anytime during the life of the vehicle. Swapping the modules essentially completes the change-over of the driver side and passenger side of the vehicle. Each mounting station includes electrical connection components. The module for the driver includes elements for controlling the vehicle and electronically connect to the electrical connection components in a mounting station.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 15, 2001Publication date: February 14, 2002Inventors: Goran Larsson, Anders Gunnarsson, Simon Lamarre, Karin Reikeras, Kjell Reikeras, Einar Lennartsson, Birgitta Thorsson, Ake Bergqvist

Publication number: 20020017230Abstract: The present invention discloses a motor vehicle designed to carry a foldable warning triangle that can be removed from the vehicle. The vehicle has an opening defined by a boundary edge and covered by a hatch such as a trunk or hood. The hatch is arranged so that it can be moved between a closed position and an open position. The folded warning triangle is secured in an edge portion of the hatch bearing against the boundary edge of the opening in the closed position of the hatch such a warning surface of the warning triangle is visible to other traffic when the hatch is open. In a preferred embodiment, the folded warning triangle is releasably placed in a recess in the edge portion of the hatch. The recess has a wall interrupted by at least one hole through which the warning surface is visible to other traffic when the hatch is open.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 15, 2001Publication date: February 14, 2002Inventors: Ake Bergquist, Goran Larsson, Anders Gunnarson, Simon Lamarre, Karin Reikeras, Kjell Reikeras, Einar Lennartsson, Birgitta Thorsson

Publication number: 20010054522Abstract: A motor vehicle arrangement having a control device for controlling the vehicle. The control device is at least adjustable in the vertical direction. The control device has a parking position in which the vehicle cannot be driven and there is no operative connection for starting, accelerating or braking the vehicle etc. from the operating controls of the vehicle. The control device is releasable from the parking position to a driving position using an authorization verification element which adjusts the driving position. In the driving position, an operative connection is established between the operating control elements of the vehicle and corresponding actuating elements.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 20, 2001Publication date: December 27, 2001Inventors: Goran Larsson, Anders Gunnarsson, Simon Lamarre, Karin Reikeras, Kjell Reikeras, Einar Lenartsson, Birgitta Thorsson, Ake Bergovist

Publication number: 20010052728Abstract: An arrangement in a door locking system, intended for a motor vehicle, is disclosed. The system is designed to receive from an authorization verification element an unlocking signal emitted by the element in order to automatically unlock at least one vehicle door lock, preferably on the driver's side, when the signal is emitted closer than a predetermined distance from the lock. The lock has a manually activatable sensor electrically connected to the lock mechanism. The lock is designed such that the sensor, when activated, causes the lock mechanism to release the door. The lock mechanism is designed to open the door automatically a predetermined angle.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 21, 2001Publication date: December 20, 2001Inventors: Goran Larsson, Anders Gunnarsson, Simon Lamarre, Karin Reikeras, Kjell Reikeras, Einar Lenartsson, Birgitta Thorsson, Ake Bergqvist

Patent number: 5080269Abstract: Fixation device for releasably fastening an object provided with a through-hole. The device consists of a screw part 1, an attachment part 2 for attaching the screw part to a surface to which the object is intended to be fixed, and a nut part 3. The latter is screwed on the screw part and locates the object in a fastening position via contact with a portion of the object and in a releasing position permits the removal of the object from the fastened position. The attachment part 2 and the screw part 1 are releasably coupled together by means of a coupling arrangement 6,7 with two coupling parts which together form a bayonet fastening. The first coupling part 6 is arranged on one end of the screw part 1 and the other coupling part 7 is arranged in the attachment part 2. The nut part 3 and the screw part 1 operate the bayonet fastening between the coupled position and the released position by rotation of the nut part.Type: GrantFiled: August 29, 1990Date of Patent: January 14, 1992Assignee: AB VolvoInventors: Goran Larsson, Ake Bergqvist

Patent number: 4646507Abstract: A packaging machine is disclosed for making and filling packages (1) consisting of inner (13) and outer (2) containers formed from sheet material. The apparatus comprises two supply locations (35) for supplying two separate webs of packaging material (31, 32). In station A tubular outer containers (2) are constructed from the web (31). In station B web (32) is formed into individual containers sealed and filled with a flowable, e.g. liquid, material. In station C the filled inner containers (13) are mated with the outer covers (2) which are sealed in station D and discharged from the apparatus.Type: GrantFiled: May 31, 1985Date of Patent: March 3, 1987Assignee: Tetra Pak Developpement S.A.Inventors: Ingemar Ohlsson, Goran Larsson
