The method including the steps of: receiving a purchase request for one or more items having a first price; generating a second price and/or an applied identifier that is unknown to the customer; applying a charge of the second price and/or the applied identifier using payment details provided; receiving data indicative of a third price and/or a recorded identifier; and comparing the data with the second price and/or the applied identifier; wherein if data is equal to the second price and/or applied identifier then finalise the purchase request.

Abstract: An apparatus and for distributing a communication within a computer network using social media and expanding a business's email or distribution contact list in a self-perpetuating self-expanding manner. The apparatus comprising a processor element adapted to: present a user interface to a first prospective client for receiving registration data; present a user interface to a first client for receiving data indicative of contact details of one or more second prospective clients; generate a respective second communication for distributing to each of one or more second prospective clients; and award an client benefit to the first client for each of the one or more second prospective clients associated with a corresponding unique registration.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for presenting a dynamic pricing of a commodity to a prospective client. The apparatus comprising: a server module coupleable to a database that includes data indicative of pricing parameters for calculating the dynamic pricing; the server module being coupleable by a data network to a remote interface element for presenting the dynamic pricing to the prospective client. The apparatus being adapted to: receive pricing parameters for calculating the dynamic pricing; compute the dynamic pricing according to a predetermined pricing function using the pricing parameters; and present an instant of the dynamic pricing to the prospective client.
