  • Publication number: 20050236120
Abstract: An elongate mounting strip for mounting screens to structures includes an elongate base that can be secured to the structure with screws, bolts, rivets, adhesives, etc. The elongate base includes an array of relatively stiff filaments or hooks or posts over which the edge of the screen can be stretched and secured. The filaments or hooks engage through and hook onto the openings in the screen to secure the screen in place. A protective and decorative cover is provided for concealing this attachment.

  • Publication number: 20040035967
Abstract: A rock crusher of the gyratory cone type having a mainframe structured to be exceptionally strong yet lighter and less costly to manufacture. A tapered spindle bolted to mainframe, is drilled with multiple oil holes, is hollow for circulating heating/cooling fluid, and supports an adjustable thrust bearing. An eccentric member journals on spindle; eccentric has outer taper offset and canted relative to inner taper, and each taper has concentric cylinderical extensions; A gyrating conical member journals on eccentric. Said thrust bearing having spherical surfaces supports conical member on said spindle. A double reduction gear train transfers power to eccentric. Flow dividers direct lubricant to specific multiple ports for hydrostatic lubrication to conical and thrust bearings. Counterbalancing means. A detachable top frame positioned on top of mainframe is restrained against radial and circular movement. Pivoting hooks and hydraulic cylinders tilt outward facilitating rapid servicing.

  • Patent number: 5697448
Abstract: A pumping apparatus is set forth for use in a flowing well which flows into the well from formations on the exterior thereby producing a mix of oil and water. A column is accumulated where oil stratifies on the top. An oil producing pump is positioned to draw from the top portions of the column and produce oil to the surface through a production tubing string in response to operation of a sucker rod actuated pump. The sucker rod string in addition operates a water expelling pump on the opposite stroke, thereby forcing water out of the accumulated column of liquid. The water is returned from the cased well into a water receiving formation on the exterior.

  • Patent number: 4761040
Abstract: A wheel cover mounting system for mounting a wheel cover on a wheel. The wheel includes a center with a concentric upstanding portion which projects outwardly therefrom along the wheel's axis and terminates at a generally radially extending surface. The generally radially extending surface includes a plurality of circumferentially spaced threaded holes. The upstanding portion of the wheel is provided with a cover including a plurality of holes capable of alignment with respective ones of the circumferentially spaced threaded holes. The mounting system includes a plurality of rods having inner ends and outer ends. The inner ends are threaded for threaded engagement into respective ones of the circumferentially spaced threaded holes. The inner ends of the rods pass through selected ones of the plurality of holes in the cover. Stop nuts are threaded onto the threaded inner ends of the rods. The cover is captured between the outer end of the upstanding portion and the stop nuts on the inner ends of the rods.

  • Patent number: 4195492
Abstract: A post to extend through the pierced hole in an ear lobe. One end of the post has a stop that is positioned against one surface of the ear lobe. The opposite end of the post has a small male snap connector portion. A smooth and flat back with a small female snap connector portion therein is snapped on the post against the other surface of the ear lobe to retain the post in the pierced hole, but if the post or the back is pulled, the back automatically releases from the post to prevent injury to the ear lobe. The back has a barrier that prevents the post from passing completely through the back. The stop has and the back may have a connector portion for attaching interchangeable ornaments. When worn with no ornament attached, the earring is essentially nonsnaggy. Interchangeable ornaments are provided with mating connector portions to hold the ornament to the post during normal activity but whenever an ornament is pulled, to automatically release the ornament from the post to prevent injury to the ear lobe.
