  • Patent number: 11968281
Abstract: Various embodiments of the present disclosure improve existing multi-layer and other network technologies by routing and processing client requests that require machine learning based on the machine learning capabilities of each network device and/or other computer resource characteristics of different network devices. This ensures that network latency and throughput, among other computer resource consumption characteristics, will be improved as machine learning processing can occur at the most suitable network device or be distributed among various suitable network devices.

  • Publication number: 20180054863
Abstract: A solid state lighting driver circuit containing an input for connection with a ballast; an output for driving a light emitting element; and a switch is provided. The switch is selectively operable to transition between a first state providing a low impedance path for a ballast output and a second state where the ballast output drives the output. A solid state lighting driver circuit has a switch connected across its input that selectively drives the circuit with a ballast output, or provides a low impedance path for the ballast output so that the ballast goes into self-protection mode. This means that the driver circuit is compatible with an electronic ballast but is well regulated. Also, a method controlling a solid state lamp for selectively driving a load with a ballast or providing a low impedance path for a ballast output is presented.

  • Patent number: 9420645
Abstract: A light emitting diode (LED) controller provides constant current regulation for a converter circuit providing current to an LED. The LED controller senses an inductor voltage and determines an inductor reset time from the sensed inductor voltage. Based on the determined inductor reset time, a switch on time and a switch period, the LED controller generates a control signal modifying the state of a switch coupling the converter circuit to an input voltage.

  • Patent number: 9084325
Abstract: An LED lamp is provided in which the output light intensity of the LEDs in the LED lamp is adjusted based on the input voltage to the LED lamp. A dimmer control unit detects a type of dimmer switch during a configuration process. Using the detected dimmer type, the dimmer control unit generates control signals appropriate for the detected dimmer type to provide regulated current to the LEDs and to achieve the desired dimming effect. The LED lamp can be a direct replacement of conventional incandescent lamps in typical wiring configurations found in residential and commercial building lighting applications that use conventional dimmer switches.

  • Patent number: 9060408
Abstract: Embodiments disclosed herein describe the use of a power supply to provide power to an LED load. The power supply provides a present output current to the LED, and receives a temperature signal representing the operating temperature of the LED. A target output current is determined, for instance based on the temperature signal. An output current rate of change is determined, and the power supply adjusts the output current to the LED at the determined rate of change until the output current is substantially equal to the target current.
