  • Patent number: 10519013
Abstract: A method for a winch system includes receiving, from a controller, instructions to spool a payload line, the payload line comprising a first end and a second end, the first end coupled to a main reel of the winch system and the second end configured to couple to a payload. The method further includes operating, based on the instructions, one or more of a first motor of the winch system and a second motor of the winch system, wherein the one or more of the first motor and the second motor are operated in order to control a position of the second end of the payload line.

  • Patent number: 10479496
Abstract: In one embodiment, a magnetic orientation detent includes a motor coupled to a motor shaft, the motor mechanically coupled to a motor mount. The magnetic orientation detent may also include a flywheel mechanically coupled to a distal end of the motor shaft. The magnetic orientation detent may further include a first plurality of magnets coupled to the motor mount and a second plurality of magnets coupled to the flywheel. The second plurality of magnets couple magnetically to the first plurality of magnets.

  • Patent number: 6827855
Abstract: A first holding tank includes a base and a plurality of sidewalls extending upwardly from the base to define an open top. An inlet pipe provides raw sewage into tank. Tank is part of a sewage treatment plant comprised of a number of like sequentially interlinked tanks. Tank has an average depth of about 1½ meters and a surface area of about 60 hectares. After a predetermined volume of sewage and other fluids are contained within tank, the inflow is halted and a number of live fish, in the form of European carp, are introduced into tank. The inclusion of the fish allows the conversion of the sewage into fish manure that progressively builds up on the bottom of the tank. Moreover, the movement of the fish in tank assists the processing of the sewage by aeration.

  • Patent number: 5546257
Abstract: A non-rotational, air filtering, head cleaning, and head cushioning device for a disk drive comprising a member and rigid support structure adapted to allow insertion of the device into a disk drive. The member, preferably comprising urethane-impregnated felt cloth, has a central aperture to avoid contact with a drive spindle of the disk drive when seated within the disk drive. When left in the disk drive, the device filters air entering the drive, cleans the heads whenever the drive checks if a disk is present, and cushions the heads whenever the drive is moved.
