    Abstract: A mount extends in protective and supportive relation beneath an insulation covered pipe, to protect the insulation against damage. The mount defines a generally concave receptacle receiving the underside of the pipe and insulation, and it may consist of magnesium in electrical contact with supported steel pipe to inhibit corrosion of the latter.
