Abstract: A cartridge valve comprises an operator section for operating a valve, and a cartridge section with the valve. The operator section includes a first body and two pistons on a common shaft. The cartridge section includes a second body with valve seat, a cartridge insert having a protruding portion with annular ring, and a valve poppet operably engaging the valve seat. Two retainer screws engage the annular ring to hold the first and second bodies longitudinally together but permit rotation. The piston shaft defines a gap to the valve poppet when in a home position so that the shaft and piston initially gain momentum before abutting the valve poppet. The cartridge insert can be removed from the second body to allow replacement of a poppet seal therebetween.

Abstract: A gate seal for a knife gate valve comprising a sealing surface lining the gate channel and an integral gasket for compression between valve body halves, a chest seal for a knife gate valve comprising a body having an expandable sealing surface and one or more injection chambers adapted to receive an injectable packing, each chamber having a cross-sectional area that is completely surrounded by the body member, and/or a knife gate valve comprising one or both such seals. The chest seal body may comprise a knife gate slot that is peripherally surrounded by the body. The gate seal and the chest seal may comprise a single integral elastomeric member or separate components.

Abstract: An electronic medical record module receives data concerning patient medical visits resulting from occupational health or safety incidents processes the data based on pre-defined OSHA logic to automatically identify one or more patient medical visits that are OSHA-recordable, and outputs a plurality of different reports including patient medical visits that are OSHA-recordable. An incident investigation module electronically dispatches an investigator to investigate occupational health or safety incidents, and receives data concerning the investigations including corrective actions to avoid reoccurrence. A data analysis module filters received data at one or more filter levels (e.g. worker characteristics, injury/illness codes, work assignment, time period, etc.) and generates a plurality of reports based on the filtered data.
