  • Publication number: 20160122728
Abstract: The present invention relates to a live avirulent infectious pancreatic necrosis virus which has been shown to be genetically stable in biological studies. Fish exposed to said virus turn out positive for the virus without showing any signs of disease and the avirulent virus has also been shown to protect the fish against IPN for an extended period of time after administration. Thus, a vaccine comprising said virus and said virus for the prophylaxis or treatment of infectious pancreatic necrosis disease are also part of the present invention.

  • Patent number: 9099012
Abstract: This disclosure describes novel systems, methods and software for determining a position of a tracked object, which might be a fixed-wing or rotary-wing aircraft, some other flying object, a vehicle (e.g., an automobile, a tactical military vehicle, etc.), a person, and/or the like. More particularly, in an aspect of this disclosure, a measured altitude for an aircraft is adjusted based on a correction factor, which is determined by comparing a measured altitude at reference point with a known reference elevation for the same reference point. This can provide enhanced accuracy and/or precision in recorded altitude measurements, which allows for more faithful presentation of altitude data, for example in post-mission debriefings, simulations and the like.

  • Patent number: 8784107
Abstract: This disclosure describes novel systems, methods and software for providing flight training. In an aspect of some embodiments, flight data is collected during a training flight. That flight data then can be used to provide a review and/or simulation of the training flight. The student may be allowed to participate in the simulation by providing input from a set of controls. In some cases, an instructor (or another) might provide modified flight data, which can be used to modify the simulation. Advantageously, this allows for the analysis and simulation of a variety of hypothetical, “what-if” scenarios.

  • Publication number: 20070261364
Abstract: A mould resistant sandwich panel includes a plurality of frame members having opposed faces and opposed sides. Mineral board sheets secured to the opposed sides of the frame members, thereby creating a plurality of interior compartments. Either mineral foam, concrete foam or concrete is used to fill each of the interior compartments.

  • Publication number: 20060263575
Abstract: A foam panel and method of reinforcing the same, includes a first sheet and a second sheet in parallel spaced relation defining a sandwich cavity between the first sheet and the second sheet. Reinforcing strips of sheeting material are positioned on edge transversely across the sandwich cavity, with one edge engaging the first sheet and an opposed edge engaging the second sheet. Foam insulation fills the remainder of the sandwich cavity.

  • Publication number: 20060260268
Abstract: A fire resistant panel includes a first sheet and a second sheet of non-combustible material positioned in parallel spaced relation to define a sandwich structure with a central cavity. The sandwich structure has a top, a bottom and opposed ends. Cement posts are positioned in spaced relation in the central cavity, in a substantially vertical orientation extending between the top and the bottom. A cement beam is positioned along the top of the central cavity, supported by the cement posts. Rigid foam insulation fills a remainder of the central cavity, with the cement posts and cement beam providing enhanced structural stability to the sandwich structure.

Abstract: A fire resistant rigid foam construction panel, includes a rigid foam insulation core. The rigid foam insulation core has an inside face, an outside face, a top edge, a bottom edge, a first end and a second end. At least one fire rated facing sheet is secured by adhesive to the inside face of the core. At least one fire rated facing sheet secured by adhesive to the outside face of the core. Fire rated cover strips are positioned at all joints, such that all of the inside face and all of the outside face of the core are covered by fire rated materials.

  • Publication number: 20040153641
Abstract: A method of configuring a stand alone or a networked computer allows running two or more copies of an operating system sequentially, and swapping between running of one of the operating system copies to another copy. The method steps comprise: creating an operating system copy at a first address, configured to run from a second address; copying the operating system to a third address; and providing means for a user to inform the computer that one of the addresses is another of the addresses or is to be treated as another of said addresses, in order that a user-selected one of the operating system copies can be run.

  • Publication number: 20040073783
Abstract: A method of configuring a computer to run an operating system from RAM includes creating a copy of the operating system on a hard disk at a first address (116), the operating system being configured to run from a second address (112). A RAMdisk is created having a RAMdisk address and the operating system is copied from the hard disk to the RAMdisk. The computer is reconfigured (118,120) so that the second address, from which the operating system copy is configured to run is the RAMdisk address or is treated by the computer as being the RAMdisk address, so that the operating system copy can be run on the RAMdisk.
