  • Publication number: 20110058565
Abstract: An Ethernet switch platform is configured to receive and process a provisioning order to establish a logical virtual circuit interconnecting a physical port associated with a buying carrier and a physical port associated with a selling carrier to set up a private network to private network connection between the buying and selling carriers. The virtual circuit is established with parameters called for in a request for quote (RFQ) initiated by the buying carrier and in a response to the RFQ submitted by the selling carrier. Information from the RFQ and from the response together with information previously stored in a relational database is extracted and used to fill out the provisioning order. The information extracted from the database include profile information and network service information associated with the buying and selling carriers.

  • Publication number: 20110059642
Abstract: An electrical connector for electrically connecting a terminal to a cord of a peripheral device, the electrical connector including a plug member, a lever arm pivotally attached to the plug member, and a biasing member. The plug member and lever arm each include an engagement claw adapted to engage complementary surfaces on the terminal, and the biasing member imparts a biasing force on the lever arm to force the engagement claws to close onto the complementary surfaces on the terminal. The lever arm advantageously includes a first gripping surface with a contoured concave profile for a user to apply a releasing force against the biasing force to remove the plug member from the terminal. A second surface includes a concave surface for engaging a user's finger and forming a grip bump.

  • Publication number: 20110056192
Abstract: A hydraulic system includes a plurality of pumps that provide pressurized fluid to a plurality of hydraulic actuators some of which work more that others. That system is controlled by producing a usage value for each of the plurality of pumps which indicates an amount that the respective pump has worked. One of the pumps is assigned to each hydraulic actuator in response to the usage values. The pumps with lower usage values are assigned to hydraulic actuators which work more, so as to equalize the use of each pump. The assignment of pumps to hydraulic actuators changes with changes in the usage values for the plurality of pumps. When a given one of the plurality of hydraulic actuators is to operate, hydraulic fluid is routed from the assigned pump to that given one of the plurality of hydraulic actuators.

  • Publication number: 20110057601
Abstract: An energy saver delay circuit for an induction motor is disclosed. The energy saver delay circuit includes a power factor control circuit including an integrator, the integrator having a negative summing junction and a current injection circuit electrically connected to the negative summing junction, the current injection circuit configured for injecting an offset current into the negative summing junction to cause about the maximum available voltage from a power source to be supplied to the motor for a predetermined amount of time. Current injection may be triggered by voltage being applied to the motor, wherein the voltage exceeds a predetermined value. Alternatively, current injection may be triggered by current flowing through the motor, responsive to the current exceeding a predetermined threshold current. Alternatively, current injection may be triggered by voltage across the power factor control circuit, responsive to the voltage exceeding a predetermined threshold voltage.

  • Patent number: 7903118
Abstract: Embodiments described herein provide a programmable mapping scheme for mapping information to resources of a system. In an embodiment, a programmable lattice method operates to map information to resources of a system. For example, the programmable lattice method can be used to map pixel data to graphics processing resources of a graphics processing system. In another embodiment, a programmable hybrid method operates to map information to resources of a system. For example, the programmable hybrid method can be used to map pixel data to graphics processing resources of a graphics processing system. The mapping methods described are applicable to any multi-dimensional array processing (e.g., 2D and 3D). The methods provide a uniform distribution of resources and tend to reduce resource collisions when allocating information to a resource.

  • Patent number: 7901235
Abstract: A connector assembly couples signal lines for an optical catheter by providing a guided releasable latching mechanism that ensures optimal alignment with only a single vertical dimension under control. A receptacle carrying a first signal line defines a channel for receiving a plug carrying a second signal line. A spring-loaded pawl on the receptacle locks to a retaining bracket on the plug when the plug slides into the channel, imparting a retaining force on the plug, the force having a first component normal to channel and a second component parallel to the channel to maintain the first and second signal lines in optimal alignment. The retaining bracket may include a sloped edge to allow for easy release of the pawl in the presence of a release force. The release force may be set to allow disconnection of the assembly without affecting catheter installation or causing patient discomfort.
