    Abstract: An antenna and a first connection terminal are disposed at a battery containing portion of a portable telephone. A noncontact IC chip and a second connection terminal are disposed at a battery lid. When the battery lid is removed from the battery containing portion, the noncontact IC chip and the first connection terminal are brought into a noncontact state and so the third party cannot use the noncontact IC chip.
