Abstract: A rotary press is provided. The rotary press includes a plurality of print towers aligned in a longitudinal direction, each print tower having a frame stationary relative to the ground, and at least one lift designed to move people. The at least one lift may be an intermediate lift designed to move people. The intermediate lift is positioned so the lift is vertically movable in an intermediate space between two adjacent print towers, and serves both print towers between which the lift is positioned.

Abstract: The printing tower consists of a plurality of printing units superposed vertically for the offset printing of a continuous material web, each printing unit including of at least one printing group having a forme cylinder, a transfer cylinder and an inking unit including inking rollers, the printing tower including at least one electronic control module associated with each printing unit for controlling the printing unit, the printing tower including of a first level and a second level each containing at least one printing unit, the first level and the second level being situated one above the other, wherein at least one control module of a printing unit of the second level is disposed on the first level.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for storing at least two printing plates (2) successively removed from a same plate cylinder (16) of a rotary press, each printing plate (2) having a central region (4) bearing patterns to be printed and a front edge (6) and a rear edge (8) opposite each other, the front edge being provided with a front fold (10) for fastening the printing plate (2) on the plate cylinder (16). According to the inventive method, the printing plates (2) are stacked on each other by fitting their front folds (10) into one another.

Abstract: The loading device according to the invention comprises a magazine for receiving at least one printing plate and transferring it from the magazine to the plate cylinder. It also comprises at least one guide rail to guide a printing plate during transfer thereof by cooperation with a notch of a front edge of the printing plate, the notch sliding along the guide rail during the transfer.
