Abstract: An apparatus for cleaning and pre-milking a teat of a milking animal prior to the milking animal being milked comprises a teat cleaning and pre-milking device (51) having cleaning means and pre-milking means, wherein, during cleaning and pre-milking, the teat of the animal is exposed to the cleaning and pre-milking means. The apparatus comprises further means (60; 84) for establishing that milk is actually extracted from the teat of the milking animal during the cleaning and pre-milking, means (62; 84) for measuring a quality, preferably a somatic cell count value, of the milk extracted from the teat of the animal during the cleaning and pre-milking, means for comparing the measured quality of the milk with a reference quality value, and means for indicating, depending on the comparison, whether or not milk drawn from the teat of the animal during a subsequent milking should be mixed with milk drawn from another animal.

Abstract: Cruise control for regulating the speed of a motor vehicle with a processing unit (14) and a manually actuatable operating element (20), wherein a selected speed can be set. On the operating element there is a switch (23), wherein the driver can select if the selected speed is to be kept constant of if it is to constitute a minimum speed or a maximum speed. There is also a switch (24, 25), wherein a permitted overspeed above a selected maximum speed can be set, so that a higher speed can be allowed when driving downhill, for the purpose of saving energy.

Abstract: The invention relates to a method and apparatus for producing a material web of synthetic textile material for conversion into table-cloths. Here, two material webs produced according to standard procedure are joined along their respective side edges to a material web folded to a V shape for obtaining a total width on the produced web that is greater than the maximum width of a web produced by standard procedure. The inventive apparatus includes two reels (1, 2) on which are would webs (3, 4) of standard manufacture, which may be rolled off the reels and into mutual proximity with the aid of a roll nip (6) disposed after the reels, there also being a folding plate (8) for folding a third web (5) into a V shape which may be joined to both webs (3, 4) along their respective juxtaposed side edges by its free side portions (12, 13) to form a material web (11) having a total width which is greater than the maximum width of a web produced by standard procedure.
