Into which a strut (8) provided with mounting hooks (12) is suspended, which possesses a prestressed, open upward retaining pocket (10), in which one or several shelf bottoms (3) are held in a self-clamping manner. The stabilizer shoe (13) is designed as a separate one-piece component and substantially in the form of an L. One branch (14) is designed flat and is inserted between the longitudinal post (2) and the strut (8). The other branch (15) has respectively a right-angled folded edge (17) at its opposed longitudinal sides and hence forms a U-shaped profile (18), into which the longitudinal external side (4) of a shelf bottom (3) is inserted.

The plurality of posts of the first module are adapted for the assembly of a first bay of the storage rack, the plurality of traverses are adapted for the junction of the plurality of posts of the first module, and the plurality of shelves of the third module are adapted for the assembly of compartments of the storage rack.

Abstract: A shelf system for the storage and filing of objects is provided. The system includes at least one shelf unit having a quadrilateral cross-sectional configuration. Vertical longitudinal posts are disposed at corners of the shelf unit. Horizontal crosspieces are disposable between two front ones of the posts. The crosspieces are provided with vertically and horizontally spaced apart, downwardly directed pairs of hooks. The posts are provided with recesses for receiving the hooks. Supporting boards are provided and each have a downwardly directed front flap that is adapted to be firmly wedged between a crosspiece and the posts that receive them to prevent lifting of the supporting boards.

The columns (2) are provided with reliefs (10) for the retention of pairs of hooks (18) of the traverses (15) as well as grid-like recesses (6) for the attachment of additional shelf system components. The shelf system is designed to provided a high level of stability and load capacity and to enable the storage of a wide variety of objects of different kinds with regard to their size, shape and weight.

Abstract: A method for labeling and storing wheels as well as rims and tires of motor vehicles in storage racks, including accepting a wheel set and assigning to it an unambiguously defined identifier of a compartment of the storage rack, attaching a paste-on label at a visible place in the motor vehicle, and securing a tire tag to each wheel of the wheel set and rolling all of the wheels into the assigned compartment of the storage rack.
