  • Publication number: 20080190952
Abstract: The invention concerns a dispenser device for products arranged in or on a product carrier, in particular tablets or the like, including a holding receptacle for forming a holding chamber for the product carrier, and an actuating means for actuating the dispenser device, a safety element being associated with the actuating means for controlled actuation, which is distinguished in that the actuating means is a pivot lever which is simultaneously designed as a push-out element for pushing the products out of the product carrier. Further, the invention concerns a product carrier for holding products, in particular tablets or the like, which is distinguished in that the product carrier is individually designed such as to be structurally adaptable on the key and lock principle to a corresponding dispenser device. Further, the invention concerns a packaging unit with a product carrier and a dispenser device.

  • Publication number: 20060011504
Abstract: The invention concerns an article, in particular a packaging, which is provided with an individual marking means. Furthermore, the invention concerns methods and devices for the individual marking and identification of articles, in particular packages. Known packagings have marking means which of course confer a certain degree of safety from counterfeiting. But firstly the packagings are expensive to make due to the additional marking elements. Secondly the usual marking means can also be manipulated with corresponding expenditure, so that a large number of counterfeit packagings are still in circulation. Due to the packaging according to the invention, which is characterised in that the marking means is a random identifier peculiar to the article, in particular to the package, the safety from counterfeiting is increased compared with conventional packagings, this being with very little expenditure, so that the costs of the packaging are also lower than known packagings.

  • Patent number: 6766951
Abstract: An apparatus for confining commodities in containers each of which consists of several components. The commodities are advanced along an elongated path past a series of stations where the components of the containers are draped around successive commodities. At least some of the components are provided with characteristic indicia, and a control circuit processes the indicia into information which is encoded upon the finished containers. Such information is decoded, when necessary, to ascertain the genuineness or lack of genuineness of the commodities, for example, the identity of the maker and packer of cigarettes in cigarette packs.

  • Publication number: 20040107674
Abstract: Packs of rod-shaped smokers' products comprise containers of a material which permits monitoring of their contents by a suitable detector serving to generate signals which indicate the presence of characteristic indicia on one or more packed smokers' products. Such signals are encoded and the encoded information is applied to the respective containers. The information can be decoded and compared with signals furnished by the detector in order to ascertain whether or not the smokers' products are genuine, i.e., made by the manufacurer whose trademark(s) and/or other identifying information appear or appears on the containers.

  • Patent number: 6574574
Abstract: The genuineness of commodities, such as arrays of filter cigarettes in containers of the type having a closure is ascertained by providing the commodities with identifying indicia prior to their confinement in containers. The containers carry encoded symbols which are supposed to be indicative of the contents of the respective containers. In order to ascertain whether or not the contents of a container are indeed products of the manufacturer or distributor the name and/or the trademark of which appears on the container, the closure is opened or removed, the contents of the container are identified by a detector which monitors the indicia, and the thus obtained signal is compared with the signal which is obtained as a result of decoding the symbol which is applied to the container.

  • Patent number: 4611456
Abstract: The invention relates to a method of forming containers useful in vacuum packaging applications which require that the packaged product be wrapped in an air-impervious enclosure.According to one aspect of the invention, the method comprises a step wherein a substrate of an air pervious, semipervious or impervious material is mold formed, and a subsequent step wherein an impervious film is applied on the molded substrate and adhered thereto to produce an impervious substrate. In another aspect, a product is placed on the impervious substrate and enclosed by an impervious film in a vacuum skin packaging process.

  • Patent number: 4575990
Abstract: The invention provides a process for packaging a product article such as meat, in a plastics bag (1) by injecting a hot gas, in this case steam, into the bag interior from behind the product article (2) using a nozzle (3) to flush air (at 5) from the bag (1) and to impart shrinking heat to the material forming the bag. When using steam, or another vapor capable of condensing at atmospheric pressure above room temperature, the condensing of the vapor effects evacuation of the bag interior.
