  • Publication number: 20230329918
Abstract: A pressure-reducing dressing is adapted for securing medical equipment to the skin of a human body, and includes a skin contact pad adapted for locating the medical equipment, a water barrier laminate positioned on the skin contact pad, and a release sheet. The water barrier laminate includes a body layer and an adhesive layer formed on a side surface of the body layer that faces the skin contact pad and adhered to the skin. The body layer has a positioning portion and two divisional portions extending from the positioning portion and spaced apart from each other by a separating gap. The release sheet is attached to the adhesive layer of the water barrier laminate.

  • Publication number: 20230293353
Abstract: A wound patch includes a main body made of a non-woven fabric and having opposite first and second surfaces, an adhesive layer disposed on one of the first and second surfaces of the main body, a waterproof layer disposed on the other one of the first and second surfaces of the main body, and a plurality of pore-forming sections penetrating through the main body, the adhesive layer, and the waterproof layer. The adhesive layer is attached to a wound when the adhesive layer and the main body are stretched by an external force.

  • Publication number: 20170087002
Abstract: A pressure relief pad for the prevention of pressure ulcers includes a pressure relief layer that is a foam structure that evenly disperses forces that the skin is subjected to; a thin film layer that is a hydrophilic thin film structure that attaches to the skin; and a release liner having a smooth surface and a rough surface, and including a predetermined pattern. The pressure relief layer, the thin film layer and the release liner are attached to and disposed on each other as a stack in that order, and have a same shape. The pressure relief pad may reduce pressure and shearing forces that the skin is subjected to, in order to prevent pressure ulcers from occurring.

  • Publication number: 20160331860
Abstract: A wet wound dressing is formed from hydrophilic polyurethane foam. The hydrophilic polyurethane foam is formed by the foaming process using a hydrophilic polyurethane material and a foaming agent. The hydrophilic polyurethane material is star-shaped polyurethane formed by a reaction between a first polyether polyol and polyisocyanate then reacting with a second polyether polyol. The first polyether polyol includes at least three terminal hydroxyl groups. The hydrophilic polyurethane foam has non-continuous closed holes. The wet wound dressing possesses excellent permeability, water absorbency, and capable of preventing sticking of wound, thereby reducing frequency of changing wound dressing, such that wound healing is uninterrupted.

  • Patent number: 5676780
Abstract: A composite legal type bicycle frame is disclosed which contains a front frame portion and a rear frame portion. The front frame portion contains a central main and a plurality of legs for connecting the central main with various components of the bicycle, and the rear frame portion contains a rear fork, which consists of a left rear branch and a right rear branch. The left and right rear branches are first cured and glued together at respective abutting surfaces thereof to form an integral rear fork before they are adjoined with the front frame portion, via prepregs and using a cocuring procedure. The left and right rear branches are formed to contain cross-shaped matching protrusion and recess, respectively, on the abutting surfaces thereof, so as to enhance the integrity of the integral rear fork. As a result, a great flexibility of design options can be obtained. For example, the rear fork can be connected to one of the legs but not to the central main.

  • Patent number: 5645668
Abstract: A mandrel assembly has a hollow main tube and two annular sleeves, wherein an inner diameter of the two annular sleeves is larger than an outer diameter of the two main tube ends. The two annular sleeves are sleeved respectively on the two main tube ends, which can be easily disengaged from the mandrel assembly when applied with an external force.
