  • Patent number: 5371680
Abstract: An accounting book automatic entering device, by which, when it is used for business processing in an accounting system, linked with an output device of a computer, trade data can be recorded in lines directly succeeding the last line of the preceding recording also on the rear side of book sheets of all the relating books and they can be conserved in the form of books after recording only by inputting one assortment so that they can be accessed at any time. A book holding shelf driving device locates a shelf of a book holding shelf corresponding to a shelf code, based on the shelf code in positional data stored in a memory device and an entry page selecting device driving section drives an entry page selecting device so as to select a specified book to fix it by means of a book selecting mechanism, to open the book at a target page by means of a page turning mechanism and for a printer to record output data on that page.

  • Patent number: 4606631
Abstract: A first syringe pump feeds a sample solution such as, for example, a diluted blood into an inner tube of a flow cell, and a second syringe pump feeds a sheath solution such as, for example, a physiological saline solution into an outer tube of the flow cell. Respective first and second plungers of the first and second syringe pumps are fixed onto a connecting plate. The connecting plate is supported by a pair of guide rods so that it may be moved in line with the moving direction of the plungers. Into the connecting plate is screwed an externally threaded rod, which is driven by a motor to rotate in the normal and reverse directions about its axis. By the normal and reverse rotations of the threaded rod, the connecting plate is reciprocally moved, whereby the first and second plungers are moved at the same speed. By the movement of the first and second plungers at the same speed, the sample solution and the sheath solution are respectively fed into the flow cell at the same rate.

  • Patent number: 4369452
Abstract: The present invention is directed to a thermal recording head. The thermal recording head includes an insulated substrate, a plurality of thermal resistive elements placed in a line on the insulated substrate, a plurality of drive circuits having signal input terminals, current supply terminals and output terminals, each output terminal of the drive circuits being connected to each thermal resistive element. A shift register having a plurality of memory units, the number of which is the same as the number of thermal resistive elements, is connected to the drive circuits with each memory unit being connected to each signal input terminal. The shift register receives serial input (pictures) signals and supplies these signals to the drive circuits in parallel. A metal cover is placed on the insulated substrate to cover the shift register and the drive circuits, the metal cover being connected to the current supply terminals of the drive circuits.

  • Patent number: 4364063
Abstract: The thermal recording apparatus of the present invention includes a plurality of thermal resistive elements placed in a line, a plurality of drive circuits connected to the thermal resistive elements to drive the thermal resistive elements and a plurality of latch circuits connected to the drive circuits to supply recording signals in order to the drive circuits. A first memory receives and stores incoming recording signals formed by a series of 1 and 0 signals. These recording signals are supplied to the latch circuits. A second memory stores previously received recording signals which are output from the first memory. A comparator then compares the incoming recording signals with the previously received recording signals after the first memory supplies the incoming recording signals to the latch circuits. The comparator generates modified recording signals.

  • Patent number: 4031008
Abstract: In an artificial kidney device comprising a dialyzer for removing specified components from blood wherein an ultrafiltration pressure is applied to the dialyzer, an ultrafiltration pressure adjusting means is provided midway of a tube for transporting the blood passed through the dialyzer into a vein of a human being, which comprises a double walled tube consisting of an easily deformable inner tube communicating with the blood transporting tube and a rigid outer tube surrounding the inner tube to define a closed chamber therebetween, pressure applying means for applying pressure to the interior of the closed chamber and an air reservoir communicating with the closed chamber and provided with a partition means near an outlet to the closed chamber for harmetically dividing the air reservoir into two rooms.

  • Patent number: 3986956
Abstract: An artificial kidney device is provided with a dialyzer for separating specified components from blood. A double walled tube is mounted midway of a tube provided for transporting the blood passed through the dialyzer into a vein of a human being, so as to automatically maintain an ultrafiltration pressure substantially constant. The double-tube wall consists of a flexible inner tube and a non-flexible outer tube and is adapted to automatically collapse or inflate the inner tube in response to a change in pressure prevailing within the dialyzer, by applying a predetermined pressure to a closed chamber defined between the inner tube and the outer tube.
