    Abstract: A spray-dried storage stable pantoprazole composition is provided. The pantoprazole composition includes a pantoprazole and an excipient matrix including sodium chloride (NaCl). The pantoprazole is substantially uniformly dispersed in the excipient matrix. A method for forming a storage stable pantoprazole composition is also provided. The method includes combining a bulking agent and water to form a first solution, combining a pantoprazole and the first solution to form a second solution, combining sodium hydroxide and the second solution to form a bulk solution, and removing water from the bulk solution by drying to form the storage stable pantoprazole composition.
