In some cases, the first computing device may request a login page for accessing a protected resource (e.g., an electronic file) from the application server, which may generate a user specific grid for the login page and send the login page including the user specific grid to the first computing device. The user specific grid may include a plurality of symbols (e.g., alphanumeric characters) associated with a password. The second computing device may generate the obfuscated password using the plurality of symbols entered by a user of the second computing device.

The method further includes determining a candidate problem statement based on analysis of information input, the candidate problem statement identifying a technical issue that the user is likely describing in information input by the user. In addition, the method includes determining a set of potential solutions to the technical issue by comparing, using the processor, the candidate problem statement to a plurality of past problem statements that are each associated with at least one respective solution. Further, the method includes formatting each of the potential solutions for display in the support portal application on the user device prior to creating the support ticket.

During a registration phase for establishing user credentials, an end user of a computing device may select a matrix size for a matrix and select a shape of a shape size. The matrix of the matrix size may then be displayed and the shape of the shape size may be displayed such that the shape appears to overlay the matrix. The end user may move the shape over the matrix and as the shape is moved, the symbols of the matrix may be updated such that symbols arranged inside the boundary of the shape are not repeated, while one or more symbols arranged outside of the boundary of the shape are repeated. The order of symbols selected by the end user inside the boundary of the shape may be used to determine a pattern-based password.
