  • Publication number: 20120186428
Abstract: Blast energy absorption system capable of being integrated into the structure of a vehicle having removable, interchangeable, and configurable components adaptable to configure the vehicle for varying mission threats. The blast energy absorption system has a plurality of independent energy absorbing systems including one or more in combination of the following: a floor structure, a housing, cross beam members, adjustable energy absorbing containers, and an understructure. Each component may be an independent reactant system. The integral relationship between the above mentioned components forms a system that absorbs and distributes blast energy to minimize energy transfer to the occupants of the vehicle. Blast energy absorption system is capable of many configurations depending on the threat level of a mission.

  • Patent number: 8132497
Abstract: A hydraulic machine includes a casing with a body and a cover; a separation member which can make a reciprocating movement and defines two chambers; hydraulic switching elements including a distribution member; a compartment in the body of the casing connected to a pressurized-liquid inlet, and initiating elements including a pusher connected to the separation member, these initiating elements being able, at the end of the stroke, to cause a sudden change in the position of the switching elements, under the action of an elastic member to reverse the stroke. The distribution member has a distribution slide valve applied against a flat plate which is fixed relative to the body of the casing, the slide valve being able to slide in a fluid-type manner, without a seal, against the plate, which has orifices connected respectively to the chambers and to a liquid outlet orifice.

  • Patent number: 7614818
Abstract: An assembly having a shaft (11) with external splining (23) of a limited length at a shaft end (27), and a hub (41) with a corresponding internal splining (43) that extends essentially the length of the hub. A first axial securing mechanism functions between the shaft and hub, prevents the hub from sliding further onto the shaft, and includes a stop surface (44, 46) on the hub and a counterpart surface (28, 59) on the shaft. A second axial securing mechanism functions between the shaft and hub, prevents the hub from being pulled off from the shaft, and includes a securing ring (51) that is situated at the end of the shaft and the end of the hub oriented toward the shaft end and that engages in radial recesses (48, 54) in the shaft and hub. The recesses form contact surfaces for the securing ring on the shaft and hub.

  • Patent number: 6766830
Abstract: An isolating insert for, in a block of modules for distributing a pneumatic fluid, forming two adjacent block sections, comprising: a body with an external surface comprising two parallel faces for assembly by juxtaposition against each adjacent module with, between these faces, internal channels providing the continuity of the common channels of the block and with a bypass for at least one of these internal channels opening out at the external surface of the element outside the assembly faces, a flat plate removably located on one of the above mentioned assembly faces, forming the closure and/or connection means of at least the internal channels of the body with the common channels of the block, the plate inseparably carrying a part identifying its function projecting from the external surface of the body.

  • Publication number: 20030152309
Abstract: A printed circuit board containing internal devices for optical generation, transmission and reception in the X and Y dimension of the plane and electrical connection of the plane. The printed circuit board may contain planes that are capacitively coupled upon which the optical devices may be formed for the reduction of electrical noise (EMI) and the removal of heat from the area of the optical devices. This printed circuit board is intended to internally transmit and receive data at faster rates than can be achieved by electrical transmission across the same distances.
