Abstract: Autonomous personal mobility systems including one or more personal mobility vehicles, each personal mobility vehicle including a navigation system configured to provide autonomous point-to-point navigation within a specified geographic area, and one or more sensors configured to detect obstructions proximate to the personal mobility vehicle, so as to enable the navigation system to avoid the detected obstructions. The system includes one or more kiosks configured to store the one or more personal mobility vehicles and charge the one or more personal mobility vehicles while stored. In some examples, the systems include a smartphone app interface to the navigation system.

Abstract: Linear motor actuated moonroofs are provided to include first and second channels and a glass sheet with a first and second edge each contained in the first and second channel, respectively. Each of the first and second channel has a plurality of magnets, which are configured to interact with a plurality of coils positioned on the top and/or bottom surface of the glass sheet proximate to the first and second edges. The plurality of coils are selectively energized by a control module to induce a movement of the glass sheet relative to the first and second channels. In some examples, the moonroof and associated components are contained within a cassette. The plurality of coils are preferably affixed to the glass sheet surfaces by a lithographic or silk-screen printing process.

Abstract: An exterior vehicle component assembly includes an exterior vehicle component having a license plate cavity and an electroluminescent license plate assembly received and held in that cavity. The electroluminescent license plate assembly includes an electroluminescent panel and a transparent cover panel overlying the electroluminescent panel. The transparent cover fits flush with the exposed face of the exterior vehicle component.
