  • Patent number: 7198125
Abstract: An agricultural vehicle includes a chassis and a cab supported on the chassis by means of a support system which maintains the cab level. The support system comprises two pairs of hydraulic actuators. Each pair of actuators is operative to tilt the cab relative to the chassis about a respective one of two mutually inclined axes. The two actuators of each pair are connected to a common pumping element in such a manner that whenever the volume of hydraulic fluid in one of the actuators in the pair is reduced, the volume of hydraulic fluid in the other actuator of the same pair is correspondingly increased.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: November 17, 2003
Date of Patent: April 3, 2007
    Assignee: CNH America LLC
Inventors: Michael D. Skelcher, Graeme J. Yorwarth

  • Patent number: 6550558
Abstract: A method of mounting a radiator onto a support member in a vehicle includes the steps of securing to the radiator a resilient mounting bush having a first annular groove in its outer surface, providing a second annular groove in the inner surface of a radiator mounting bore formed in the support member, positioning a spring clip in one of the two annular grooves and inserting the bush into the bore, the spring clip being compressed radially during insertion of the bush into the bore and being released when the annular grooves are axially aligned with one another to lock the bush within the bore.

  • Patent number: 6352232
Abstract: A method is disclosed for bolting to one another two structural elements 12, 14 while maintaining a spacing G between the two elements. The method comprises forming a through bore 24 in a first element 14, placing an annular bush 22 within the bore 24 of the first element 14 to project from the first element 14 into contact with the surface of the second element, locking the bush 22 in relation to the bore in the first element 14 and securing the structural elements to one another by means of a bolt 18 passing through the annular bush.
