Publication number: 20190095835Abstract: Described is a system for monitoring provisions of services. The system includes a work order system for producing one or more work orders, an identity and access management system to verify information regarding a service provider and a system that receives a produced work order associated with a service provider upon receipt of a service request. The system requests information regarding service provider attributes from the identity and access management system, and receives from the identity and access management system information regarding at least some of the attributes of the service provider. The system determines a requisite level of expertise required for the service and determines whether the attributes received from the identity and access management system indicate that the service provider has the requisite level of attributes.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 5, 2018Publication date: March 28, 2019Inventors: Graeme Jarvis, Terezinha Rumble, George C. Publication number: 20180322268Abstract: A system and method for determining authorization of individuals at a premises is disclosed. The system (e.g. security system) includes interrogator devices such as mobile computing devices that are carried through the premises by an interrogator. The interrogator devices send challenge beacons for triggering responses from target user devices carried by users. A management system then confirms whether users of the target user devices are authorized users based on the responses received by the interrogator devices. Examples of target user devices include mobile computing devices such as smart phones/tablet devices, and auxiliary devices such as smart badges and wallets. In embodiments, the interrogator can also carry an auxiliary device having an integrated camera system that captures image data of the users, where the management system additionally confirms whether the users are authorized by comparing the image data along with information in the responses to stored records of authorized users.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 4, 2017Publication date: November 8, 2018Inventors: George Grammer, Teri Rumble, Graeme Jarvis, Christopher Cianciolo

Publication number: 20180075677Abstract: Described are techniques for security access and control. The techniques use a system that includes a card reader system including a processor and memory. The card reader system is configured to execute a security application that configures the card reader system to receive an embedded electronic credential from an access badge, with the embedded electronic credential carried by the access badge and being associated with a user, determine whether the credential indicates an authorized access, generate a message according to a result of the determination, and send the message to a distributed ledger that logs the result in the distributed ledger.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 15, 2017Publication date: March 15, 2018Applicant: Tyco Integrated Security, LLCInventors: Richard Campero, Sean Davis, Graeme Jarvis, Terezinha Rumble

Publication number: 20180075247Abstract: Disclosed are techniques that use user devices and a server system to process employee generated requests to allow guest access registration. A server system receives a request for guest registration and the server system sends in response to the request a message to a guest user device with the message including a request for user credentials. The user credentials are supplied from a user's PII wallet carried by the user. The server system receives from an employee user device a verification of the guest registration, produces an access policy for the guest user device and causes the produced policy and guest credentials to be stored in a distributed ledger system.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 15, 2017Publication date: March 15, 2018Applicant: Tyco Integrated Security, LLCInventors: Richard Campero, Sean Davis, Graeme Jarvis, Terezinha Rumble
