    Abstract: Disclosed is a hot runner for conveying a metallic-molding material. The hot runner includes: (i) a first conduit, and (ii) a second conduit. The first conduit is configured to receive the metallic-molding material. The second conduit is configured to receive the metallic-molding material from the first conduit. The first conduit is thermally expandable relative to the second conduit sufficiently enough so that an interference seal forms between the first conduit and the second conduit. The interference seal substantially prevents a leakage of the metallic-molding material from the first conduit and the second conduit.
