  • Fixing device for mounting a plate on the flange of a beam

    Abstract: There is disclosed a fixing device for mounting a plate on one side of a flange of a beam, the device comprising a base portion for engagement with an opposite side of the flange, and upstanding portion provided on the base portion, a hole extending through the base and upstanding portions and formed with a screwthread along at least part of its length, and a threaded fastener adapted to be taken through a hole in the plate and into threaded engagement with the hole in the device in order to hold-down the plate onto the flange.
