  • Patent number: 11925872
Abstract: A video game includes a single player mode where completion of storyline objectives advances the single player storyline. The video game also includes a multiplayer mode where a plurality of players can play on an instance of a multiplayer map. Storyline objectives from the single player mode are selected and made available for completion to players in the multiplayer mode, and the single player storylines can be advanced by players completing respective storyline objectives while playing in the multiplayer mode. Combinations of storyline objectives are selected from pending storyline objectives for players connecting to a multiplayer game for compatibility with multiplayer maps. Constraints can be used to determine compatibility.

  • Publication number: 20240037220
Abstract: An access token broker is executed within a first iFrame, a fully trusted application is executed in a second iFrame within the first iFrame, and a partially trusted application is executed in a third iFrame within the second iFrame. The partially trusted application may identify the iFrame in which the access token broker is executing and request an access token from the access token broker. The access token broker determines whether the request for the access token is to be granted. If the request is to be granted, the access token broker requests the access token from a hosting application. The hosting application obtains the requested access token from an access token server and provides the access token to the access token broker. The access token broker receives the access token from the hosting application and provides the access token to the partially trusted application.

  • Patent number: 11591086
Abstract: A hybrid unmanned aerial vehicle (10) is provided which comprises a multicopter frame (14) having a plurality of operable multicopter propulsion units (22) thereon, and an airframe body (16) which is connected to the multicopter frame (14). There is also a pair of wings (34) positioned on opposite sides of the airframe body (16) and a wing control means for manipulating the pair of wings (34) with respect to the airframe body (16) to alter an angle-of-attack of the pair of wings (34). In a first wing condition, the angle-of-attack of the pair of wings (34) is alterable with respect to a relative airflow so as to produce zero lift, and, in a second wing condition, the angle-of-attack of the pair of wings (34) is alterable with respect to the relative airflow so as to produce an optimum or near optimum lift. A method of improving the manoeuvrability of the hybrid unmanned aerial vehicle (10) is also provided, as is a method of improving the operational range of unmanned aerial vehicles.

  • Publication number: 20230035963
Abstract: Disclosed herein are processes for producing blends of recycled polymeric material and virgin polyethylene. Post-consumer recycled plastic (PCR) can vary widely with respect to composition which includes mixtures of variable amounts of different polar and non-polar polymers such as polyethylene, polypropylene, ethylene vinyl alcohol, and polyamide. Mixing PCR and virgin polyethylene is inconsistent, partially due to variability, and frequently results in a final product with poor mechanical and optical properties. The process described herein of adding PCR to a solution polymerization process provides another option for blending PCR and virgin polyethylene that offers an ability to exert greater control on the properties of the final product, independent of the composition of the PCR.

  • Patent number: 11468624
Abstract: In example embodiments, techniques are provided for integrating pieces of heavy equipment into a virtual construction modeling workflow by including representations of the pieces of the heavy equipment in a 3D environment of a virtual construction model, evaluating capabilities and clashes in the context of the 3D environment, and adding descriptions of the pieces of heavy equipment and operational details to work packages. Each piece of heavy equipment is associated with a unique ID, an effective range (e.g., lifting radius) and other parameters. Using a client the user links the piece of heavy equipment to one or more work packages by associating its unique ID with the work package. The work package is associated with a physical extent in the virtual construction model which falls within the effective range of the equipment. Operational details (e.g., scheduling, cost, usage rates, maintenance, etc.) are defined in connection with the work package.

  • Patent number: 11180581
Abstract: Provided in this disclosure are organometallic complexes that contain i) a metal atom selected from Hf and Zr; 2) a phosphinimine ligand; 3) an amido-ether ligand and at least one other ancillary ligand. The use of such a complex, in combination with an activator, as an olefin polymerization catalyst is demonstrated. The catalysts are effective for the copolymerization of ethylene with an alpha olefin (such as 1-butene, 1-hexene, or 1-octene) and enable the production of high molecular weight copolymers (Mw greater than 25,000) with good comonomer incorporation at high productivity.

  • Patent number: 11150622
Abstract: In one embodiment, a modeling process adds unique numbers for field welds or flange bolt-up connections to a virtual construction model of an infrastructure construction project. Based on the virtual construction model and a fabrication data file that describes a portion of the infrastructure construction project, a QC drawing generation process generates a QC drawing for the portion of the infrastructure construction project that includes balloons linked to locations of field welds or flange bolt-up connections, each balloon including the unique number of a corresponding field weld or flange bolt-up connection. A copy of the QC drawing is provided to a field inspection worker. Subsequently, a marked-up copy of the QC drawing is received back that includes field inspection results associated with the unique number of each field weld or flange bolt-up connection. The marked-up copy may be maintained in a document control system.

  • Patent number: 10751604
Abstract: A multi-game ticket assembly and associated method of making include a substrate having a front surface and a back surface. A first game play area is provided on the front surface and includes a plurality of game symbols for play of a first game. A second game play area is provided on the back surface and includes one or more windows defined therein for play of a second game partially embodied on the back surface. A fold line indication on the front surface and divides the substrate into a first portion and a second portion. The second portion is foldable onto the first portion in a folded state of the substrate such that the front surface of the second portion is against the front surface of the first portion and the one or more windows align with the first game play area. The game symbols in the first game play area that are visible to a player through the one or more windows in the folded state of the substrate determine an outcome of the second game.

  • Patent number: 9996618
Abstract: Technologies are described herein for locating relevant content items across multiple disparate content sources. Query parameters are received from a user interface for defining a query for searching a number of content sources located on multiple, disparate content servers. A native search is executed on each of the content servers based on the received query parameters, and query statistics and other data regarding content items in the content sources matching the query parameters are received. The query statistics are aggregated across the content servers and presented in the user interface. The presentation of the query statistics may be broken out by each content source, by each query phrase segmented from the query, and the like. In addition, a preview of a number of content items matching the query parameters is presented based on the data received.
