    Abstract: Methods, systems, and techniques for agricultural greenhouse gas estimation. Farm data in the form of at least one of revenue generated by a farm, crop information for one or more crops grown on the farm, and land use/farm practice data for land used on the farm to grow the one or more crops is obtained. An emissions estimate is determined based on the obtained data and caused to be displayed to the user via a graphical user interface. A user may be a person responsible for managing multiple farms. That user may be presented with aggregate emissions-related information for all farms, including projected future emissions under various scenarios, and may also iteratively experiment with different farm data values in order to attempt to reduce projected emissions or increase data quality/emissions estimate accuracy.

    Abstract: A system for managing a virtual machine is provided. The system includes a processor configured to initiate a session for accessing a virtual machine by accessing an operating system image from a system disk and monitor read and write requests generated during the session. The processor is further configured to write any requested information to at least one of a memory cache and a write back cache located separately from the system disk and read the operating system image content from at least one of the system disk and a host cache operably coupled between the system disk and the at least one processor. Upon completion of the computing session, the processor is configured to clear the memory cache, clear the write back cache, and reboot the virtual machine using the operating system image stored on the system disk or stored in the host cache.

    Abstract: A rotary cone drill bit is provided with enhanced fluid flow near the bottom of an associated borehole resulting in improved removal of cuttings and other debris from the bottom of the borehole. The drill bit includes a plurality of fluid passageways extending from the bit body to the exterior of the drill bit. The bit body may include an enlarged cavity with the fluid passageways extending therefrom. One end of the cavity preferably includes an opening to receive fluid from a drill string attached to the drill bit. The end of the cavity opposite from the opening may have a generally parabolic configuration. For one application, a web member extends from the lower portion of the bit body, occupying a void area between each cutter cone assembly. The web member preferably contains a plurality of fluid passageways which direct drilling fluid from the drill string, through the bit body, through the web member, and exiting at nozzles adjacent to the bottom of the associated borehole.

    Abstract: An apparatus for selectively changing the neutral position of one or more control levers such as those found on the control console of a motor grader is disclosed. The apparatus comprises a bearing having a longitudinal axis; means for eccentrically mounting the bearing about a central axis which is spaced apart from and parallel to the longitudinal axis, the means for mounting the bearing permitting the bearing to revolve about the central axis; and means for selectively retaining the bearing in a plurality of desired radial positions relative to the central axis, an end of the control lever is secured to the bearing to permit the control lever to pivot about the longitudinal axis. A connecting rod has a first end pivotally connected to the control lever and a second end connected to a device which is to be activated by the control lever. The first end of the connecting rod pivots about an axis which is coincident with the central axis.
