Patent number: 6691153Abstract: A method and system are described that can be used to support a process interaction among a group of participants connected to a network. A participant completes an electronic form specifying the subject matter of the process interaction and a list of network addresses corresponding to other participants in the interaction. A server receives the form and includes resources for delivering an electronic mail message associated with an electronic medium associated with the interaction. When the participant opens the message, the electronic medium is produced by the server that includes static and dynamic regions. The participant can add comments to the interaction or direct the process interaction using an interaction region. The dynamic regions are asynchronously updated in the server and indicate the current content of the electronic medium that can be accessed by other participants.Type: GrantFiled: January 14, 2000Date of Patent: February 10, 2004Assignee: Zaplet, Inc.Inventors: Michael Hanson, Graham Miller, Brian Axe, Steven Richard Evans

Patent number: 6523063Abstract: A method and system is described that can be used to reliably, efficiently, and securely transmit information in a communications network. The information can be static or dynamic content. A server is configured with logic to encode and decode a link identifier into, safe character sets that are recognizable to many known web browsers. A redirect process is used to limit the amount of communication with the database. This means that the load and the cost of system operation can be reduced.Type: GrantFiled: January 14, 2000Date of Patent: February 18, 2003Assignee: Zaplet, Inc.Inventors: Graham Miller, Michael Hanson, Brian Axe, Steven Richard Evans

Patent number: 6507865Abstract: A method and system are described that can be used to support content collaboration among a group of participants connected to a network. A participant creates an electronic form specifying the content and a list of network addresses corresponding to other participants in the content collaboration. A server receives the form and includes resources for delivering an electronic mail message associated with an electronic medium associated with the content collaboration. When the participant opens the message, the electronic medium is produced by the server that includes static and dynamic regions. The participant can modify or change the content. The dynamic regions are asynchronously updated in the server and indicate the current content of the electronic medium that can be accessed by other participants. The content may be binary or textual.Type: GrantFiled: January 14, 2000Date of Patent: January 14, 2003Assignee: Zaplet, Inc.Inventors: Michael Hanson, Graham Miller, Brian Axe, Steven Richard Evans

Patent number: 4114463Abstract: The invention relates to a drive for a straddle type berry harvester suitable in particular for harvesting raspberries. The harvester has a frame mounted on wheels movable over a row of berry plants and having opposed rotatable upright cylindrical tined shakers connected above by universals to output shafts of a drive and mounted above conveyors in laterally slidable bearings to avoid obstructions in their path. Spring-mounted interleaved deflector plates lie between and beneath the shakers inclined towards the conveyors to guide berries shaken off by the shakers and falling therebetween. The shakers are rotated by cooperation of the tines with the plants as the harvester moves thereover. The drive for the shakers consists of two vibrating head assemblies and a high speed input in each assembly driven in synchronization but in opposed rotary direction by a single high speed prime mover.Type: GrantFiled: July 9, 1975Date of Patent: September 19, 1978Assignee: New Zealand Inventions Development AuthorityInventors: Graham Miller Garden, Richard James Harwood
