Abstract: Techniques for third-party content delivery via a unique mobile application address are presented. A mobile application on a mobile device of a consumer generates or is assigned a unique address. The consumer uses the mobile application to communicate with an enterprise over a network. The enterprise delegates delivery of content to the mobile application to a third-party service and provides the unique address. The third-party service directly sends the content over the network to the mobile application of the mobile device on behalf of the enterprise.

Abstract: Location aware authentication techniques are provided. A user pre-registers a mobile device and a geographical location with a location-based authentication service. When the user attempts to access a target resource from the mobile device, a current location for the mobile device is resolved and communicated to the location-based authentication service. If the mobile device is within a geographical range of the pre-registered geographical location, then the mobile device is automatically authenticated for access to the target resource via the location-based authentication service.

Abstract: Techniques for optimization of barcode processing are presented. Barcode configuration data is distributed from a server service to a mobile client device. The mobile client device includes an application to inspect the capabilities of mobile client device and render the barcode configuration data into a barcode that is optimally scanned from the mobile client device when presented on a display of the mobile client device.

Abstract: A system and method of coupling a pinion of a starter to a crankshaft of an internal combustion engine, including: predicting a future trajectory of the drop of the rotational speed of the crankshaft based on information associated with the drop of the rotational speed of the crankshaft and determining a timing of the driving of the starter based on the future trajectory of the drop of the rotational speed of the internal combustion engine.
