Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to a polycell for forming a dosage projectile suitable for administering a biologically active agent to an animal remotely, the polycell comprising a first component having a semispherical shell formed from a polymer and a structural agent; a second component having a semispherical shell formed from a polymer and a structural agent; and a filling port in the first component or the second component; wherein the first and second components when joined form a polycell having a substantially spherical hollow body adapted to receive an agent to treat an animal. The present disclosure is also directed to a dosage projectile comprising an agent to treat an animal sealed in a polycell.

Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to an apparatus for remotely treating an animal with an agent comprising: a launcher adapted to hold an agent and propel the agent in a treatment dose over a distance to an animal in response to a trigger command; an electronic reader module comprising: a communication interface arranged to receive an identification signal from a sensor associated with an animal; a trigger interface arranged to detect a trigger command to the launcher; and a means to record in a memory the treatment of the animal identified from electronic sensor and treated by the launcher.

Abstract: An oral delivery system for remotely treating an animal comprising an edible dosage projectile containing an active agent, wherein the projectile is capable of being remotely delivered over a distance. A method for administering an active agent to an animal using the system.
