  • Patent number: 11959683
Abstract: A modulating refrigeration system includes an evaporation unit and a condensing unit. The evaporation unit generates a first output airflow comprising a lower temperature, a lower relative humidity, or both than a first supply airflow and directs the first output airflow into a building. The condensing unit generates a second output airflow at a higher temperature than a second supply airflow and discharges the second output airflow to an unconditioned space. The evaporation unit comprises a first valve operable to direct a portion of refrigerant to a secondary evaporator and primary evaporator or to direct the entire flow of refrigerant to the primary evaporator and bypassing the secondary evaporator.

  • Publication number: 20230316891
Abstract: This disclosure is directed to a system for detecting when an individual performs a prohibited action during a cleaning event. A wearable computing device that is worn by an individual performing cleaning in an environment detects movement associated with the wearable device during a cleaning event. One or more processors determines, based at least in part on the movement associated with the wearable computing device detected during the cleaning event, whether the individual has performed a prohibited action during the cleaning event. Responsive to determining that the individual performed the prohibited action during the cleaning event, the one or more processors may perform an operation.

  • Publication number: 20230153845
Abstract: A computer implemented method of generating a custom signal from a data library containing multiple datasets of variable values correlated with time and geography includes receiving a user defined target variable, a time parameter, and a geography parameter, determining the applicable datasets from the data library overlapping the user-defined time parameter or geography parameter, testing the control variables of the applicable datasets for statistical significance to the target variable, aggregating a custom signal of at least three control variables having the greatest statistical significance to the target variable. The method includes generating a forecasting model by determining an internal feature analysis, determining an optimal external feature analysis, and selecting an optimal feature set based on a statistical strength of the internal feature analysis and the optimal external feature analysis.

  • Patent number: 10973497
Abstract: Provided herein are systems, devices, and methods for sample collection. A sample collection device may comprise a vessel, a lid, and pre-loaded liquid solutions. The sample collection device may collect a liquid sample, such as a biological sample. The liquid solutions may comprise reagents for preserving and/or stabilizing biological samples, such as saliva, collected in the vessel. A chamber comprising the liquid solutions may be located in the vessel and/or the lid. In some instances, the liquid solution may be released from the chamber upon closure of the vessel with the lid. In some instances, the liquid solution may be released from the chamber upon actuation of an implement, such as a plunger. In some instances, the liquid solution may be released upon compression of an absorbent member. The sample collecting device may be delivered to a remote location for further processing and/or analysis.
