  • Publication number: 20240104792
Abstract: Embodiments are directed to aspects of the extended reality environments that are selected or otherwise modified to account for distracting stimuli. Similarly, one or more metrics that reflect, or are otherwise indicative of, a user's ability to focus on a current or upcoming activity may be used to adjust a user's interaction with the extended reality environment. The extended reality environment can generated by an extended reality system that includes a head-mounted display, a set of sensors and a processor configured to enter a focus mode that reduces distraction in an extended reality environment. While in the focus mode, the process or can receive imaging data of a physical environment around a user using the set of sensors and generate the extended reality environment that includes a reproduction of the first region of the physical environment where an identified object is replaced with the additional content.

  • Publication number: 20150352303
Abstract: Disclosed is a resuscitator including a valve assembly having a check valve arranged within a valve body, the valve body defining a gas passageway therethrough, the valve body including a first inlet, a second inlet and a first outlet, wherein the second inlet and the first outlet are axially aligned, and the first inlet is axially perpendicular to both the second inlet and the first outlet, and wherein the valve is arranged within the valve body between the second inlet and the first outlet in axial alignment with the second inlet and the first outlet; a compressible bag in fluid communication with the first inlet; a suction device removably attached to the second inlet; and an endotracheal tube removably attached to the first outlet. The suction device includes a tube arranged to be advanced through the valve and into the endotracheal tube such that the endotracheal tube can be suctioned without having to detach the endotracheal tube from the valve body.

  • Patent number: 8186747
Abstract: The present invention provides an integrated composite floor unit and front wall assembly that can be used in a variety of structures. The integrated composite floor unit and front wall assembly is formed of a floor unit having a front portion and a front wall integrally formed with and rising up from the front portion of the floor unit. The assembly can include other structural features and may be easily combined with a number of further structural components to form a structure. In specific embodiments, the assembly forms part of a modular trailer. In particular, the trailer can be formed of the composite assembly, a composite roof, composite side walls, and a composite rear frame. Such composite trailers advantageously provide a storage volume approximately equal to or greater than conventional trailers but are lighter in weight, thus allowing for storage and/or hauling of a greater weight of cargo than in conventional trailers.
