Abstract: A contact assembly includes a contact positioner holding a contact array having contacts and a ground shield including a ground plate along forward sections of the contacts and a ground panel along rearward sections of the contacts. The contact array includes a forward contact holder coupled to the ground plate and the forward sections to locate the forward sections relative to the upper ground plate. The forward contact holder includes forward slots to separate the forward contact holder into discrete sections. The contact array includes a rearward contact holder coupled to the ground panel and the rearward sections to locate the rearward sections relative to the ground panel. The rearward contact holder includes rearward slots to separate the rearward contact holder into discrete sections.

Abstract: A control system for a double-acting air cylinder of an agricultural implement includes a valve assembly configured to control a base end air pressure and a rod end air pressure of the double-acting air cylinder. The control system also includes a controller communicatively coupled to the valve assembly. The controller is configured to determine a target base end air pressure and a target rod end air pressure based on a target force of the double-acting air cylinder and a target damping factor of the double-acting air cylinder. The controller is also configured to control the valve assembly such that a first difference between the base end air pressure and the target base end air pressure is less than a first threshold value and a second difference between the rod end air pressure and the target rod end air pressure is less than a second threshold value.

Abstract: An apparatus that facilitates search and rescue, for example, in open water. The apparatus comprises a substrate with a particular geometry and a perimeter. The apparatus further comprises a cover positioned atop the substrate with the cover also having a particular geometry and perimeter, which correspond to the geometry and perimeter of the substrate. An air-tight seal seals the substrate perimeter to the cover perimeter and creates a sealed internal region. A liquid-releasable vessel holding an illuminable dye located in the sealed internal region, along with an activator that is also located in the sealed internal region. When the liquid-releasable vessel releases the illuminable dye, the illuminable dye reacts with the activator, thereby resulting in illumination of the illuminable dye. The liquid-releasable vessel comprises an opening with a release mechanism (e.g., clamp, etc.).

Abstract: Apparatus and associated methods relate to detecting jams when an intensity of a reflected signal exceeds a predetermined intensity threshold and an intensity window metric based on historic intensity value(s) fails to exceed an intensity window threshold for more than a predetermined time threshold. In an illustrative example, a jam detection unit (JDU) may emit a signal and detect a reflection of the signal. The JDU may, for example, compare intensity of the reflected signal to the intensity threshold. The JDU, for example, may compare the intensity threshold with at least one historic intensity value to determine the intensity window metric. If the intensity value exceeds the intensity threshold and the intensity window metric has not exceeded the intensity window threshold for longer than the time threshold, then the JDU may, for example, generate a jam signal. Various embodiments may advantageously detect jams based on intensity of a reflected signal.

Abstract: A well tool for use within a borehole with borehole fluid. The well tool may include a body, an acoustic velocity transducer, a reflector plate, and a processor. The body may include a fluid conduit extending between a flow inlet and a flow outlet. The flow inlet and the flow outlet may be positioned on an exterior of the body to allow the borehole fluid to pass through the fluid conduit. The acoustic velocity sensor may be positioned within the fluid conduit and configured to generate and receive an acoustic pulse. The reflector plate may be positioned within the fluid conduit such that the pulse is reflected off of the reflector plate back to the acoustic velocity transducer. The processor may be programmed to determine an acoustic velocity of the borehole fluid based on a return time of the pulse reflected back from the reflector plate.

The server can then search the received data based on the search criteria to select relevant professionals associated with the client's search request. The server can rank the selected relevant professionals based on peer performance ratings and the relevancy of the relevant professional to the search criteria. After ranking the selected professionals, the server can transmit a report of the relevant professionals ordered in the ranking determined by the server.

The deformable tip is deformable between a first configuration and a second configuration, each configuration having a cross-sectional area. In addition or alternatively, a method is provided for forming the gastrostomic device using a disposable core.
