  • Publication number: 20250065770
Abstract: Typically, the battery swapping process of a battery-powered mobile equipment involves driving or otherwise moving and transporting the battery pack of the mobile equipment at the recharging station, and support mobile equipment may not be properly equipped to perform an efficient and safe battery swap. The availability of mobile equipment designed to replace battery packs on-site are limited and may not be suitable for most battery pack assemblies. Disclosed embodiments eliminate or reduce the risk during the battery swapping and transport of battery packs to recharging stations. In particular, disclosed embodiments comprise a battery-swapping support system that enables battery packs to be quickly swapped, potentially in the field. The battery-swapping support system may be mounted on a mobile equipment that can transport battery packs to and from other mobile equipment in the field.

  • Publication number: 20250050840
Abstract: Typically, the recharging process for a battery-powered mobile equipment involves driving or otherwise moving the mobile equipment to the location of a stationary recharging station, and recharging the battery of the mobile equipment at the recharging station. During the time of travel and recharging, the mobile equipment is not performing a task in the field. Disclosed embodiments eliminate or reduce the need to transport the mobile equipment to recharging stations. In particular, disclosed embodiments comprise a frame that enables battery packs to be quickly swapped, potentially in the field. Embodiments may comprise movement elements to facilitate swapping and/or a mobile battery-swapping system that can transport battery packs to and from the mobile equipment in the field.

  • Publication number: 20240319851
Abstract: In various examples, a first dataset including a first set of nodes maintained in a hierarchical data structure is obtained and displayed in a user interface. Urgency scores are then determined for a subset of nodes of the set of nodes displayed in the user interface, the urgency score indicating that the portion of the first dataset displayed in the user interface is within a distance to an end of the first data set, and based on the urgency score being above a threshold, causing a request for a second dataset including a second set of nodes maintained in the hierarchical data structure to be generated.

  • Patent number: 11763371
Abstract: A system and method for dynamically obtaining and evaluating information to optimize the generation of vehicle suggestions for a customer. A profile based on an initial set of information received from a user is created. Metrics are generated based on the profile information. Upon receiving a vehicle request, the profile and the request are analyzed in view of available vehicles. A customer's response to the vehicle suggestion list, as well as events triggered by a perceived need for additional information result in the dynamic adjustment of the profile and thus, the generated metrics.

  • Publication number: 20180313107
Abstract: A method of supporting an upright member from a support surface includes inserting an elongated carrier of an upright member support system into a hole in the support surface. A base of the support system is positioned at least partially around the carrier so the base contacts at least one upper surface of the support surface. A lock of the support system is releasably engaged with the carrier above the base and tightened down sufficient to maintain the base in contact with the support surface. The upright member is inserted into a bore of the carrier.

  • Patent number: 9593723
Abstract: A disconnect clutch and method of controlling the connection of a parasitic load to an engine disposed on a machine is disclosed. The disconnect clutch may comprise a flywheel assembly, a friction plate and a coupling. The flywheel assembly may include a flywheel having a cavity, a chamber, a piston moveable between a contracted position and an expanded position, a pressure plate, a lever, and a coupling operably connected to the friction plate. The flywheel may include an end plate. The chamber may be defined by the flywheel and the piston. The lever may apply an activation force to the pressure plate when the piston is in the expanded position. The friction plate may be attached to and rotatable with the flywheel assembly when the piston is in the expanded position and generally stationary when the piston is in the contracted position.
