Abstract: The exemplary embodiments provide an improved approach to preventing exfiltration through email messages. The exemplary embodiments process outbound email messages to determine whether an outbound email message contains sensitive subject matter based on contextual information. The determination may be made based at least in part on the context reflected in the contextual information. In the exemplary embodiments, the determination of whether an outbound email message contains sensitive subject matter that should not be exfiltrated may be based at least in part on analysis performed by a trained neural network model.

Abstract: Embodiments include systems and techniques to perform secure transactions including processing registration information for each computing device of a plurality of computing devices having authority over a financial account. In one example, embodiments include receiving a pending transaction against the financial account from a computing device. Embodiments include executing an authentication protocol to determine the computing device is a member of the plurality of computing devices based upon the registration information, and processing data identifying another computing device within a configurable distance from the computing device. Embodiments further include the system to execute the authentication protocol to determine the other computing device is a member of the plurality of computing devices based upon the registration information and bypass a portion of a security procedure for authorizing execution of the pending transaction.

Abstract: A system and method are disclosed in which a user engaging in an online or in-person transaction with a merchant may create automatic expiring transactions for a credit card. The user provides the credit card information to an online interface or a point-of-sale device but specifies an expiration date that is on or before the actual expiration date of the credit card, known as an artificial expiration date. A token for the merchant is generated with the artificial expiration date. The issuing bank will honor the transaction with the artificial expiration date using the merchant-specific token, and the token may continue to be used with the online merchant until the artificial expiration date.

Abstract: A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing computer-readable program code executable by a processor to receive a transaction request from a user interface, and receive a user-identifier from the user interface, and the user-identifier associated with a user. The program code may be executable to send a first non-audible sound signal to initiate a multifactor authentication process during a first interval, and send a second non-audible sound signal during a second interval, where the second non-audible sound signal comprises a predetermined frequency pattern, associated with the user. The program code may also be executable to receive a third non-audible sound signal, where the third non-audible sound signal, at least in part, is utilized to determine whether to complete the transaction request or not. The first non-audible sound signal, the second non-audible sound signal, and the third non-audible sound signal may comprise a frequency greater than 15 kHz.

Abstract: Various embodiments are generally directed to techniques for embedding a data object into a multidimensional frame, such as for training an autoencoder to generate latent space representations of the data object based on the multidimensional frame, for instance. Additionally, in one or more embodiments latent space representations of data objects may be classified, such as with a machine learning algorithm. Some embodiments are particularly directed to embedding a data object comprising a plurality of object entries into a three-dimensional (3D) frame.

The matrix barcode may include a plurality of colors, where at least one of the plurality of colors is a least prevalent color, of a plurality of prevalent colors in the environment.

Abstract: Logic may assign a customer identification to a model to associate a first customer with the model to detect fraudulent transactions. Logic may determine one or more clusters to associate with the first customer based on characteristics associated with the first customer. Logic may associate one or more cluster identifications with the first customer. Each cluster identification may identify one cluster of the one or more clusters. Each cluster may identify a group of customers based on characteristics associated with the group of customers. Logic may cause the model to transmit to a customer device associated with the first customer. Logic may receive transaction data for a transaction for one customer of the group of customers associated with a first cluster. And logic may communicate modified transaction data to customer devices of more than one customer of the group of customers associated with the first cluster.

Abstract: Exemplary embodiments may provide an approach to converting multidimensional color data for an image encoded in a first color space into an intermediate form that is a single dimensional value. The exemplary embodiments may then decode the intermediate form value to produce an encoding of the color data that is encoded in a second color space that differs from the first color space. In this manner, the data for the image may be efficiently converted from an encoding in the first color space into an encoding in the second color space.

Abstract: Exemplary embodiments may use word embeddings to enhance scanning of programming code scripts for sensitive subject matter, such as confidential subject matter. The scanning may be performed by a neural network in some exemplary embodiments. The neural network initially may be trained on a corpus of programming code scripts to identify keywords relating to sensitive subject matter, such as passwords, tokens or credentials. The neural network may not only identify instances of the keywords but also may identify related terms as well. The output of the scan may be a ranked list of terms in the programming code script that may relate to sensitive subject matter.

Abstract: Various embodiments are directed to a system that utilizes regular expression (regex) to recognize at least portions of characters, words, text, numbers, etc. in a structured or unstructured dataset, any patterns associated therewith, and/or similarities between the determined patterns. In examples, a regex-based pattern recognition platform may receive a dataset and determine whether at least a first regex pattern and a second regex pattern can be identified. The occurrences of the first and second regex patterns and the frequency of those occurrences may reveal something about the dataset itself or any patterns contained therein.

Abstract: Techniques to transmit encoded data along a transmission medium and decode the transmitted data along the transmission medium are provided. Some techniques include logic to encode data transmitted along a transmission medium, such as a fiberoptic line or cable, where the encoding is pursuant to a conversion between a first and second colorspace. The logic may further be configured to decode the data once it is received at a node along the fiberoptic line, where the colorspace conversion provides the basis, key, or cipher for preforming the decoding operation. The logic may be further configured to alter the encryption and decryption basis, key, or cypher by altering the colorspace scheme defining the encoding (and by extension the decoding) during transmission, including a transmission that takes place after a previous transmission governed by the previously defined (and subsequently altered) colorspace conversion scheme. Abstract: Various embodiments are generally directed to provide a semi-local authentication scheme. A server can transmit one or more encryption mechanisms to a user device, which in turn can transmit the encrypted mechanisms to one or more secondary devices associated with the user device, where the user device and the secondary devices share a local connection. The secondary devices can transmit the one or more encrypted mechanism utilizing one or more one or more decryption mechanisms supplied by the server, and then transmit the result of the decryption, e.g. decrypted codes, back to the user device, which in turn can then transmit a final decrypted code or codes to the server. Upon confirming receipt of the decryption from the user device, the server can authorize access (via the user device) to one or more devices, networks, applications, and/or components.

Abstract: Techniques and apparatus for providing peer-based management of user accounts are described. In one embodiment, for example, an apparatus may include at least one memory and logic coupled to the at least one memory. The logic may be configured to receive a request from at least one first user account to unlock a second user account locked responsive to a fraud event, determine a safe authentication value for the fraud event, and unlock the second user account responsive to the at least one first user account being a safe authentication account and the safe authentication value being over a safe authentication threshold value. Abstract: Systems, methods, articles of manufacture, and computer program products to: train a prediction model using a machine learning process, the prediction model configured to estimate whether further application of a hyperparameter tuning technique will cause an improvement in at least one of the hyperparameters; select the hyperparameters using the tuning technique; apply the prediction model to determine if further adjustment of the hyperparameters is likely to improve the success metric; and terminate the tuning technique when: accuracy of the prediction model in predicting improvement in a hyperparameter is above a predetermined accuracy threshold, and the prediction model predicts that further application of the tuning technique will not result in an improvement to the hyperparameter; or the accuracy of the prediction model in predicting improvement in the parameter is below the predetermined accuracy threshold, and an accuracy of hyperparameter adjustment is determined to be below a predetermined adjustment

Abstract: Techniques to improve detection and security of images, including formation and detection of matrix-based images. Some techniques include logic to process image data, generate one or more colorspaces associated with that data, and perform colorspace conversions based on the generated colorspace. The logic may be further configured to generate an image based on the colorspace conversions, including but not limited to a matrix bar code. The logic may be further configured to apply one or both of an ultraviolet layer and an infrared layer to the image, e.g. matrix barcode, generated from the colorspace conversion(s). Abstract: Techniques for providing a real-time service that protects personal data of clients from customer service agents are provided. Customer data that includes personal data indicative of sensitive information of a customer can be received from the customer. The personal data within the received customer data can be detected and a token that does not include the sensitive information of the customer can be generated. The personal data and the generated token can be stored along with data indicating a relationship between the token and the personal data. The personal data in the received customer data can be replaced by the token to form modified customer data. The modified customer data can be provided to a customer service representative. The token within the modified customer data can later be detected and associated with the personal data without revealing the personal data to the customer service representative.

Abstract: Techniques to enable a chat bot system to use metaphors during an interaction with a user are provided. Identification information for the user can be received and can be used to determine a customer group assigned to the user. An initial state of a sequence for resolving an issue of the user can be determined, with the sequence for resolving the issue of the user including a final state wherein the issue of the user is resolved. A metaphor can be selected to include in a question based on the determined customer group assigned to the customer and the determined initial state of the sequence for resolving the issue of the customer. The question can request information from the user relating to the issue of the user. The question can be generated to include the selected metaphor and then provided to the user with a prompt to provide a response.

Abstract: Logic may adjust communications between customers. Logic may cluster customers into a first group associated with a first subset of synonyms and a second group associated with a second subset of the synonyms. Logic may associate a first tag with the first group and with each of the synonyms of the first subset. Logic may associate a second tag with the second group and with each of the synonyms of the second subset. Logic may associate one or more models with pairs of the groups. A first pair may comprise the first group and the second group. The first model associated with the first pair may adjust words in communications between the first group and the second group, based on the synonyms associated with the first pair, by replacement of words in a communication between customers of the first subset and customers of the second sub set.

Abstract: Various embodiments are directed to a password security warning system. An artificial neural network or other types of models may be used to determine whether a password that is created, input, or proposed by a user via an interface includes one or more predictable or typical transformations or combinations of characters derived from user-specific information. Based on the determination, a warning may be provided to the user.

Abstract: Various embodiments are generally directed to techniques for multi-voice speech recognition commands, such as based on monitoring a telecommunications channel between first and second devices, for instance. Some embodiments are particularly directed to prompting initiation of a transaction between a first entity associated with a first device and a second entity associated with a second device based on detection of an audible request corresponding to the second entity and an audible response corresponding to the first entity.
