  • Publication number: 20240131215
Abstract: Systems and methods for creating a germicidal partition. A germicidal partition system including at least one negative ion generator including at least one negative high-voltage source, at least one high-voltage conductor electrically connected to the at least one negative high-voltage source, and at least one anode electrically connected to the at least one high-voltage conductor, and at least one fan configured to draw air into the system, direct the air through the at least one negative ion generator, and output the air through at least one manifold, wherein the air outputted through the at least one manifold is configured to create a barrier between a first air mass and a second air mass, such that the outputted air reduces at least one of the transfer of contaminants or the concentration of viable contagions between the first air mass and the second air mass.

  • Patent number: 11962113
Abstract: A connector assembly of a cartridge of an electronic vaping device may be formed by metal in-molding. The connector assembly may include a connector body that is integrally formed. The connector body may include a base portion that is generally cylindrical, a nose portion extending from a first end of the base portion, and at least two slots extending longitudinally through the base portion and on opposing sides of the nose portion. An electrical lead extends through each of the at least two slots.

  • Publication number: 20230024674
Abstract: An electric auxiliary heating system for a natural gas powered vehicle having a natural gas engine is provided to maintain a cab temperature upon cessation of operation of the natural gas engine. The present system selectively circulates previously heated coolant to an existing cab heating circuit to maintain a desired cab temperature, wherein upon the coolant temperate cooling to a predetermined temperature the auxiliary heating system initiates heating with electric heaters in a reservoir to provide heating of the coolant. A controller provides for the initiation and termination of the auxiliary heating corresponding to selected predetermined thresholds as well as a sensed oil pressure generated by the natural gas engine.

  • Publication number: 20200061606
Abstract: Described herein are various embodiments directed to rotor devices, systems, and kits. Embodiments of rotors disclosed herein may be used to characterize one or more analytes of a fluid. An apparatus may include a first layer defining a channel, a set of wells, and a cavity. A second layer may be coupled to the first layer. The second layer may include a protrusion extending towards the first layer. The second layer may define an opening configured to receive a fluid. The channel may establish a fluid communication path between the opening and the set of wells. A container may be slidable within the cavity during use. The protrusion may be configured to penetrate a wall of the container.
