    Abstract: A mobile communication device with various operation modes and a method of toggling the operation modes thereof is disclosed. The operational mode of the mobile communication device can be automatically changed as the result of a docking or undocking event of the mobile communication device with a docking station. During the docking or undocking of the mobile communication device with the docking station, the mobile communication device is conditionally toggled between a speakerphone operation mode and a non-speakerphone operation mode such as a handset operation mode, a headset operation mode and the like.
